It looked like the leaves were just starting to change color. We will continue to update autumn foliage information on Instagram, Facebook, and our website, so please check them out.🤗 We look forward to many autumn leaf photos 🍁✨ Please send your entries enthusiastically—thank you 📸🙏

【October 13 — First Clear Sky in Seven Years!? Sunset Village Festa】 Yesterday, Sunday, October 13, the “Sunset Village Festa” took place at the Gokase Winery event square 🥳👏 Blessed with gloriously sunny weather that felt almost hot ☀️, the Sunset Village Festa had been plagued by rain for years, and this was the first time in seven years the event could be held in the square 😮❗ Vendors from neighboring Takachiho and Yamato towns joined in, and the venue was lively from the very start 🤗 On stage, familiar host “Dancing MC Nagisa Mama” led the program, which featured many acts—drums, dance, kagura, banba dance, practical karate, a performance by Gekidan Munno, a raffle interlude, and more—creating nonstop excitement 🤩💫 Nearby, a sweet potato digging experience ran alongside the festival, with children and adults getting happily muddy as they dug in 🍠✨ It felt like a true autumn event—take your harvest home and enjoy it deliciously 🤤💕 And of course, the headline guest MICA gave a live show that got everyone on their feet 🎤🌟 The crowd kept calling for encores—proof that everyone had a great time 🥳 MICA even said she’d love to come back 🎶 Everywhere you looked, the event was full of smiling faces—truly wonderful and so much fun 😆❤️‍🔥 More events are coming up, so let’s keep enjoying them to the fullest 🤩💪💕

Gion Shrine Autumn Festival “Okunchi” Today, Wednesday, October 9, the Gion Shrine in Kuraoka District held its autumn festival “Okunchi.”🤗 The light rain that fell until yesterday felt like a distant memory under a clear, delightful autumn sky.☀️ Gion-san’s power is truly amazing.👏✨ Even though the festival fell on a weekday this year, visitors from outside the prefecture and local children gathered from the start of the ceremony.😊 We were allowed into the main hall and were able to see the “Urayasu no Mai” dance.🥹 It was a beautiful dance that radiated tradition.✨ The Gion kagura also came with detailed explanations about how it differs from other kagura, which made it even more enjoyable.🤩 The Usu-daiko drum dance invited everyone, including the general public, to join in lively dancing, and the playful exchanges of the Yamaboshi question-and-answer skit added a comedic touch that made people chuckle.🤣 Traditional events can sometimes seem formal and stern, but this festival was anything but that—it was a truly entertaining celebration.💫 After the Usu-daiko dance there was a mochi-throwing event, and the festival concluded with a dedication of the Gion kagura, keeping the atmosphere lively from start to finish.🤗🎉

It’s still hot in here Suwa city. It is abnormal!!! When I was child, after Lake Suwa’s firework festival gradually to change to autumn. But, today is still 30 Celsius… Hopefully, autumn should come soon!!! I’ll introduce to Suwa’s autumn leaves. The Suwa city is basin surrounded by mountains. We have so many kinds of trees. So, you can see many kinds of autumn leaves red color. Do you know what color will be change ginkgo leaf? It will be change to green to yellow. You can see ginkgo trees autumn leaves! It is also beautiful!!! Near the Lake Suwa, we have Katakura-kan(they are famous for building and hot spring) they have gingko tree and maple. You’ll see red(maple) and yellow(ginkgo) color harmony with historical building. How awesome spot it is!!! At the Kirigamine, you’ll see Japanese pampas grass all over the place. That’s seasonal tradition. At the Mushou tower or Nagikama shrine, you are going to see fantastic view. You may see Northern alps, Central alps, Southern alps, Yatsugatake peaks and Mt, Fuji!!! Can you believe that??? Trust me! “Seeing is Believing” If it is sunny, you’ll see all these mountains 360-degree view!!! I recommend to Mushou tower or Nagikama Shrine. Please come to see autumn leaves in Suwa. And tell me your favorite autumn leaves spot in Suwa. Then put #visitsuwaautumn to post to Instagram!!!

[Flower Park LIVE "KAMU Sound"] I wondered if it would rain September 22 arrived with excitement. In the flower park of the Roadside Station "Kamu" LIVE Events "KAMU Sound" was held in! A garden with a refreshing autumn breeze. In a spacious ~ space surrounded by Nature It was a day filled with all kinds of sounds. Band & Dance for Elementary School Students, Fascination with original songs, Idol Goichi who delivered an hour full of cuteness and fun. A boy who shows off mysterious sounds and mysterious stories Someone who reads (and memorizes!) an essay in a nice voice. )、 A person who reads a Picture book to the sound of the koto. I'm really grateful to all the performers. It was a wonderful stage that I couldn't take my eyes off of every performance! *** For those who visit a roadside station during their journey I want you to enjoy the attached garden. Then you'll want to go into the garden. Let's do an Events! It was a live performance that I planned with the idea. In preparing the venue, the gardener prepared the path and stage area On the day of the event, the staff and performers set up from early in the morning. Children's fairs fly out of the markets venue, They livened up the Events with mobile Gacha Gacha and candy fishing. *** Where can you enjoy the flower park? Until Sunday, October 20. Please be healed in the autumn garden. #Nishiokoppe Village #KAMU Sound #Roadside Station #Kamu #Regional Revitalization Cooperation Corps #Flower Park #Autumn Markets #Live Events #Ritz Pritz Khao Man Gai #Pipopapo #LOCKHAMA #Original Song #Kitami #Goichi #Kuma Robo #Yura Itsumi #Otowei Kofu #High school student #Reading by Village A #Essay #Koto and Picture book jikan #Mizunara no life #Sticky tree

Shanofu Shinshu Hand-Baked Rice Crackers Honpo On this day, Shokushinbo Kasai visited Shinshu Hand-Baked Senbei Honpo. It is a hand-baked rice cracker shop that has been open here for about 35 years. On the day of the event, we were guided by President Hiroko Kitahara, who also bakes rice crackers. When I entered the store, the first thing I thought of was the variety of products. Really, there were 🍘 so many types that Kawanishi, who likes rice crackers, could get lost Among them, there were really Many types and, including stained rice crackers and rakkasen. Popularity No,1 is glue No. 2 is doubled No. 3 is apple crackers Next, Nozawana wasabi Nozawana wasabi is rare, isn't it? Nozawana is often seen in Souvenirs shops in the prefecture, but "Nozawana wasabi" is hard to find! Apples, Nozawana, and wasabi are all Nagano specialties. Karin is a specialty of Suwa. Apricots, matcha, white sugar, brown sugar, shichimi, ichimi, miso, green onion miso, walnut miso, garlic, etc. Even in Nagano Prefecture, there is the largest type of rice cracker. I think so. Kasai's recommendations are "garlic" and "twice". Garlic is a gastronomical delicacies with a slight garlic flavor. The second rice cracker has a strong flavor, so you can enjoy the mellow taste of soy sauce. After all, it is hand-baked, so the crunch is the best, and if you like hard rice crackers, this is a recommended store. Among them, the most noteworthy product is "Fukutoku!! Some of you may understand it when you hear "Fukutoku". President Kitahara's grandfather made "Fukutoku". Unlike fortune cookies, fortune cookies have good luck charms inside!! Somehow, I wanted to revive it, and it seems that I was able to reprint it in the generation of President Kitahara. And after all, Shinshu hand-baked rice crackers are hand-baked & Taisha-mae!! It may be sold by hand, but when you visit Suwa Grand Shrine Main Shrine, the Soba (buckwheat noodles) ⛩ of Taisha Main Shrine's Torii (shrine gate), why don't you take a walk around the northern approach to the temple by all means, looking for your favorite flavor 🍘 and Souvenirs at the Shinshu hand-baked rice cracker honpo? ◎ Shinshu hand-baked rice crackers honpo 📍 〒392-0015 201 Nakasu, Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture (Suwa Grand Shrine Kita approach to the temple) ☎0266-58-1235 Business hours : Weekdays 9:30~16:30 (subject to change) : Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 9:00~17:00 ◎Regular holiday : Open open all year
