With thoughts to fly into a wonderful world When I saw the Japanese paper with long fibers that become fluffy when torn into pieces, I wanted to make feathers. I still can't forget the joy I felt when I used the skills my master taught me to make washi paper feathers.   I think that pulp and washi still have a lot of unknown potential, so I am working on my production activities while keeping an eye on what I can do new or what can be used as a hint for production.

"Mizutamaten" In the summer of Kamakura, the warm weather of Mizutama colors the city. My works of pulp art and washi art were exhibited at the Kamakura Sculpture Museum. We displayed it using Japanese paper dyed according to the color of Mizutamaten so that the work could be seen beautifully from the wide window. I was happy that everyone at the Kamakura Sculpture Museum and craftsmen kindly welcomed me from different genres. Even after the Mizutamaten period, they held a special exhibition with the craftsmen of Kamakura carving, and many people saw the works. Thank you very much. The Kamakura Sculpture Museum is about a 5-minute walk from Enoden Wadazuka Station toward the sea. In the hall, works elaborate by craftsmen are exhibited and sold. You can also experience it if you make a reservation. Please come to Kamakura. ♪ Highly recommended 〒248-0014 3-4-7 Yuigahama, Kamakura City secretariat TEL (0467) 23-0154 >>>>> Open Tuesday ~ Friday 9:30~16:30 Sat/Sun・Holidays 11:00~16:00 Regular holiday : Monday (If Monday is a national holiday, Tuesday is closed) ◆We will be closed for about a week during the year-end and New Year holidays, spring, and summer. Chiba Kamogawa Onsen Rian. It opened on August 8, 2022. From your room, you can see the morning sun rising from the Pacific Ocean in front of you. The open-air bath while watching the morning sun is the best. The sunlight reflected in the water basin in front of you is also beautiful, and the sound of the wind and sea invites customers to relax. If you walk on the deck connected to the open-air bath, there is a sofa, so you can relax while looking at the sea. "There is no large bath in Lian." That's because I want you to spend a private and relaxing time. An open-air bath with your favorite sake in hand... While talking to the people I love... Treat yourself... We look forward to seeing you there.

Kintsugi is a traditional restoration technique of Japan. I've been interested in trying it for a long time, but I thought it was a technology that used lacquer and had high hurdles. This summer, the Kamakura Sculpture Museum was indebted to Enoden's "Mizutamaten" held in Kamakura. Kamakura carving experiences are held regularly, but they hold a kintsugi class once a month, so I applied without hesitation. A pulp art plate made by transferring the texture of pulped paper to clay, the lid of the teapot that my mother liked and used, the ceramic teacup that my late master bought for me because it was a little chipped and I used it carefully with glue ... Things that have been chipped or broken even if you use them carefully, and things that you want to repair when Kintsugi is made, are close to you. In the monthly class, you can learn how to make useful tools for kintsugi, so it is very informative and fun. While being impressed by the ideas of the people of the past, such as mixing lacquer and flour to glue the applied parts, I thought about the warm hearts of the ancient Japan people who cherish things. The teacher told me that this would be what would happen if I did this, but I wanted to go this far, so I was in a little hurry to work on it, and it turned out to be a sure thing, so I reflected a little. Calm down Be polite While enjoying the process of repairing While cherishing the hearts of Japan, wabi-sabi

Almost every spot from where Fujisan is visible seems picturesque to me whether it is my workplace or rooftop of my home or any tourist spot. I visited hakone in last week and it was 1st trip to Hakone but this trip was unforgettable. The scenic view of Mount Fuji, the mountains covers with greenary and fall colors, the scenic view lake ashi and the pirate ship makes the whole surrounding very beautiful. Unfortunately the day was cloudy still luckily the majestic mount Fuji was visible clearly . It's was very picturesque and scenic spot. This photo was taken from Onshi Hakone park.

[English/Japanese] This is a view of the gingko trees along Koshu Kaido, a 1-minute walk from the school. Hachioji held the "Ginkgo Festival" over the weekend. Before the outbreak of the new coronavirus, our school's students also participated as volunteer foreign students. The rows of ginkgo trees are at their best now. Please come and see them. COOL JAPAN VIDEOS Photo Contest PR

Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is today's inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video" pick-up post. Here is a post by Abhi Sen. Breathtaking Komadome Waterfall The view of the falling waterfall among the magnificent trees with colorful autumn leaves is superb. Located in Nasu Town, Tochigi Prefecture, Komagataki Falls is a waterfall about 2 meters wide and 20 meters high, also known as Komazu Falls. The color of the upper and lower basins is beautiful and mysterious. It is said to be the "first waterfall in Nasu". The autumn leaves are in full bloom around mid-October every year, and you can see the contrast between the autumn leaves and the waterfall from the waterfall set up in the Nasu Heisei Forest in Nikko National Park, except in winter, when it is closed. Access is about 40 minutes by car from Nasu IC on the Tohoku Expressway, or about 30 minutes by taxi from Nasushiobara Station by train. The nearest station is Kurodawara Station. There is no parking lot, so we recommend that you park in the nearby Nasu Heisei Forest and walk there. In addition, there is Kita Onsen, one of the Nasu hot spring villages, in the surrounding area, where you can enjoy the secret hot springs of Okunasu.

[English/Japanese] A 15-minute walk from Hachioji Station, I bought a "Hachioji Castle Monaka" at the Japanese sweets shop Senshuen. In fact, there was a castle in Hachioji in the 16th century. This "Hachioji Castle Monaka" is a confectionary shaped like the castle that existed at that time. The monaka is filled with sweet bean paste and is very tasty ?By the way, Hachioji Castle is no longer there, but the place where the castle used to be is now a park. I would like to visit there with my students someday. A 15-minute walk from Hachioji Station, I bought "Hachioji Castle Monaka" at the Japanese confectionery shop Senshoen.
