During the beautiful wisteria season, I decided to go to a certain flower park. I triumphantly straddled the motorcycle, but there was no sign of it arriving farther than I expected. At that time, as I proceeded to be drawn by the words "Great Wisteria in Tamaki Park" that appeared on the sign, a magnificent wisteria tree appeared, which was as good as the famous wisteria. I bought coffee and fried bread nearby, ate it while watching, immersed myself in the calm atmosphere of the surroundings, which is not found in large facilities, and went home satisfied that day.

Unnan, Shimane On the riverbed of the Mitoya River, cherry trees are planted for about 2 km on both banks of the Mitoya River, which flows parallel to National Route 54 until the end of April. It is a famous place for cherry blossoms along with the "Hiigawa Embankment Cherry Blossom Tree" in Kitsugi Town, and during the cherry blossom viewing season, bomboli are installed on the bank and you can enjoy the illuminated cherry blossoms at night. On the banks of the Mitoya River, a type of cherry tree called "Gyoikou" is also planted. It is a cherry tree with pale green flowers, about 120 of which are planted. Someiyoshino cherry blossoms bloom about two weeks later and are in full bloom around late April every year, so you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing twice along the cherry blossom trees along the banks of the Mitoya River. "Yogasaki Ohajiki Art" in Shichigahama Town, Miyagi Prefecture It is a seawall art located in the Shirogasakihama district square facing Matsushima Bay. A concrete breakwater was built along the coastline damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and with the cooperation of companies and creators active in the town, a 100-meter-long "Ohajiki Art" was created. The islands of Shiogama Bay and Matsushima Bay spread out here, and it is a very scenic place.

🧗‍♂️ This time, we introduce one of the area’s major landmarks, Mt. Tarumae!! 🌋 Mt. Tarumae stands at 1,041 meters and is famed as a rare triple-vent active volcano. You can hike the trail that circles the crater, known as the “ohachi meguri.” Nearby is Mt. Fuppushi, and you can traverse between the two peaks. 🥾 It takes about 60 minutes by car from the city to the 7th Station parking lot, and about 50 minutes to reach the summit from the 7th Station, making it a great choice even for beginners!! 💁‍♀️ The mountain is beloved for alpine plant observation and sweeping views of Lake Shikotsu and the Pacific Ocean, offering an accessible taste of serious mountaineering. 🥰 The municipal road between the Mt. Tarumae 5th Gate and the 7th Station parking lot, “Shido Tarumae-san Kanko Dosen,” had been closed for winter, but it was finally reopened on Friday, May 26 at 5:00 p.m. 🎉✨ The adjacent parking lot is free to use and holds about 70 cars. 🚙 Why not work up a sweat on Mt. Tarumae this summer? 🥵 [ Mt. Tarumae address ] 059-1265 Tarumae, Tomakomai City, Hokkaido [ Parking lot address ] 066-0283 Morappu, Chitose City, Hokkaido ⚠ Attention ⚠ ※ When climbing, prepare thoroughly before you start (and don’t forget to file a mountain-climbing notification!). The current eruption alert level is 1, but there is strong volcanic gas emission and some ground heating. Also, parts of the trail are slippery, so please take care. ※ The “Shido Tarumae-san Kanko Dosen” is a narrow gravel road—drive slowly and yield to oncoming vehicles. ※ The parking lot can fill up early on holidays. Please be aware of this in advance.
