COOL JAPAN VIDEOS Photo Contest PR
May. 19, 2023
Introducing the photos posted on "Minna no Post"! This is a pickup post on the inbound tourism information SNS "COOL JAPAN VIDEOS". Today, I would like to introduce a post by "Puyo Puyo Monkey". It is a photo that captures the vitality and charm of poppy flowers. "Kurihama Flower Park" is a flower-themed tourist spot located in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture. In the rich natural environment, you can enjoy a walk and relaxation surrounded by flowers. Poppies and nemophila in spring, sunflowers in summer, cosmos and autumn leaves in autumn, and about 8,000 plants of about 80 species are also a highlight. Various events are also held at the time of the "Poppy Nemophila Festival". You can enjoy the sight of carp streamers dancing over the flower fields, local gourmet food, and brass bands. The giant 10-meter-long Godzilla slide in the "Adventure Land" area of the park is a popular spot. In winter, it is lit up for a limited time, and the powerful Godzilla illuminated by the lights is a must-see. Kurihama Flower Park, you can enter the park with your dog. In the spacious grounds, you can take a leisurely stroll with your dog. However, it is important to follow the rules and enjoy the park while being considerate of other guests and nature. In addition, the indoor pool "Kurihama Flower Park Pool" on the premises is equipped with a heated pool, a pool for children, and a training room. It can be used slowly by both adults and children. ◆Kurihama Flower Park◆ 【Address】〒239-0832 Kanagawa-ken, Yokosuka-shi, Shinmei-cho 1 【Access】 Get off at JR Kurihama Station or Keikyu Kurihama Station, and walk for about 15 minutes. 【Parking lot】Available (Please see the official website for details.) )

A 1-minute walk from the school, there was an Asian food shop above the post office! Vegetables and frozen foods were also sold, and the inside of the store was large and very easy to see. I asked the shopkeeper for their recommended sweets. In the photo is Vietnamese soft candy. This soft candy is made with young glutinous rice. It has a slightly sweet and nostalgic taste. Many international students use such overseas grocery stores when they have just entered the country. Hachioji has many such shops in the city, so it can be said that it is a comfortable city for foreigners to live in.

[English/Japanese] Across the street from the amanatto (sweet bean) shop introduced previously is a public bathhouse that is famous in Hachioji. At the bathhouse, vegetables are sold unattended. At this sales place, rare vegetables from the Tama area are sold, and there is a wide variety of them, so it is fun just to look around ?International students often take advantage of these unattended vegetable sales. The principal of our school also has a farm in Hachioji City, and he is often asked by foreigners to sell their produce. When I asked the students about it, they said it looks fresher and tastier than the ones sold in supermarkets. I encourage everyone to try these rare vegetables that can only be found in the Tama area. Across from the amanato shop I introduced earlier is a public bath that is famous in Hachioji. Located in Kurihama, Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, we will introduce "Kurihama Flower Park" and "Jogashima" and "Misakicho" a little further away. Kurihama Flower Park has flowers, trees, herbs, playground equipment and Godzilla. During Golden Week, poppies and nemophila are in full bloom, and you can feel very vivid and refreshing when you take a picture. The bees were also happy to fly around. In addition, it seems to be a spot where cosmos blooms all over the place and sunflowers bloom every season, and you can enjoy it many times every season. Jogashima is about 20 minutes by car from the Kurihama Flower Park. You can see the sea right away, and it is a place where tuna bowls are so famous that no matter where you walk, tuna bowls are sold. I don't have a photo because I haven't eaten it. The regional cat is relaxed and relaxed. In Jogashima Park, you can walk along the spreading rocky area. As you approach the rocky area, the smell of thick tide wafts in the air, making you feel summer. There was a gorgeous parfait, octopus rice crackers and dried fish were sold, and it looked delicious. If you cross from Jogashima to land, you will become Misaki Town. The cityscape makes you feel the atmosphere and playfulness of a port town in some places, and just walking around is exciting. I saw many tourists traveling by rental bicycle. The recommended spot is Misaki Donut. It is a fluffy light donut with a wide variety of pistachios, orange chocolate, white earl grey, etc. The donuts lined up in the showcase are cute, and I am happy to choose them. I ate it to take home and it was meltingly delicious. There was also an eat-in space. In addition, I felt that Misaki Town is a town where various parts of tuna are cut in various ways and sold cheaply in large packs, locally harvested vegetables are sold, and you can meet handsome seamen on boats. By all means! Why don't you go!

Shot at Sakitama Kofun Park, famous for cherry blossoms blooming on top of burial mounds in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture. At night, there was a clear weather forecast and I took out my camera and appreciated the cherry blossoms and starry sky under the cold sky. The rays of light running down the stairs were caused by the flashlights held in the hands of the students who came to admire the cherry blossoms at night. I really like the way the rays bounce and ripple as you descend the stairs, as if to express that the students were also enjoying this space. I also find the contrast between the pale lines of the background drawn by the stars and the intense light of artificial light interesting.

Photographed on 2023.04.09 at Oyama Senmaida, Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture. I wanted to experience something spring-like scenery, so I went to Chiba Prefecture to see the water mirror of the terraced rice fields. You can only see the clean water mirror for a limited period of time until the farmer plants the rice. It is no exaggeration to say that this is a spring tradition. When the sky deep in the mountains begins to light and the water surface of the terraced rice fields begins to receive the light of the sky, morning finally begins for the animals. The chirping of birds and the chirping of frogs can be heard more actively. "There are still dark shadows in the visible world, but morning is certainly approaching." I wanted to convey such an atmosphere through photographs, so I captured the gentle rotation of light in the darkness.

[English/Japanese] This grocery store is located in front of Nishi-Hachioji Station. This store is currently closed, but there was a poster with messages of support from everyone. So it is a store loved by everyone. I felt very warm when I read it. There are many supermarkets in Nishi-Hachioji, but there are also small stores like this one. Students at our school also said that they sometimes use these small stores because they enjoy the communication that only a small store can provide. They said that when they live alone away from their country, just being able to call out to them makes them feel less sad. It is a greengrocer in front of Nishi Hachioji Station.
