Toyama Castle Park is widely regarded as one of Japan’s most picturesque locations for enjoying cherry blossoms, blending natural beauty with deep historical significance. The park surrounds Toyama Castle, whose origins date back to the Sengoku period, when it functioned as a strategic stronghold under regional rulers. Although the original castle was lost to time, the present structure symbolizes Toyama’s feudal heritage and now serves as a cultural landmark within the city. The cherry‑blossom experience becomes especially memorable when viewed from a quiet, slow‑moving boat gliding along the castle moat. From this serene vantage point, visitors can fully appreciate the delicate fragrance of the blossoms, while petals occasionally drift down and gently settle around them. This harmony of history, landscape, and sensory richness creates a tranquil atmosphere that offers a timeless and deeply rewarding hanami experience.

At Hakojima Retarding Basin, cherry blossoms were in full bloom, spreading their branches wide by the pond, while rapeseed flowers bloomed at our feet. In the calm, windless moments, the spring scenery gently reflected on the water's surface, allowing us to feel both the tranquility and vibrancy unique to spring in Japan. The combination of the pale pink of the cherry blossoms and the vivid yellow of the rapeseed flowers was striking, inspiring me to capture the beauty of this season when nature awakens all at once.

【Koi Dancing in Komu】 The display inside the Forest Art Museum "Komu" has been updated in various ways this year. Currently, it seems that koi are swaying here and there until early May. As you pass through the entrance, you can see four large koi hanging against a backdrop of cherry blossoms. If you head to the shop corner, you can also discover small koi. Something like Setoushi-kun is wearing a helmet and has a gentle expression. There are parts not captured in the photos, so I would be happy if you visit Komu and see for yourself🎏 - 【Forest Art Museum "Komu"】 ✨️GW Festival from May 3rd to 5th✨ Opening hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM *Admission accepted until 4:30 PM Closed: Every Tuesday *Open on May 5th and 6th, which are public holidays *Closed on May 7th (Wednesday) Admission fee: High school students and above: 500 yen 4th grade elementary to junior high school: 300 yen Children aged 3 to 3rd grade: 100 yen Children under 3: Free Contact: 0158-87-2600 #Forest Art Museum Komu #Indoor Display #Children's Day

Shinobazu Pond The strong winds from the day before scattered the petals, and the Someiyoshino cherry blossoms in Tokyo are nearing their end. After the storm, brilliant light pours into the clear blue sky, and I set out for one last cherry blossom viewing, embracing the spirit of Taisho Roman. The white, red, and Kanzan cherry blossoms are now in full bloom under the sunlight. Swaying in the light and wind, the vibrant purple blossoms shine brightly.

(2026-04-05) Night Cherry Blossom Illuminations at Shingashi River Flowing behind Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture the cherry blossom avenue here is famous I went to take photos for the first time last year This year, I aimed for "flower rafts" The flower rafts along The Philosopher's Walk at Lake Biwa Canal in Kyoto are too high a hurdle, so I decided to go for Saitama instead, haha With various plans overlapping I managed to squeeze in a visit on Sunday night After transferring trains three times and switching to a bus Result: No flower rafts appeared Maybe the strong wind blew them away That said, I think I got some pretty nice shots of the night cherry blossoms I figured out the route to get there and I captured some beautiful night cherry blossom illuminations (●´ω`●)

Hello everyone, this is the En'emon Folklore Museum. Shosenkyo Gorge has transformed beautifully into spring! 😃✨ The cherry blossoms in the parking lot are in full bloom! 🌸❗️ Despite the recent strong winds, they are blooming vibrantly. 😊 Although many petals have fallen near the entrance by Nagatoro Bridge, the area around Senga Falls is just reaching its peak bloom. 🌸🌸 As various flowers will soon start to bloom one after another, we invite you to come and visit Shosenkyo! 😃 We have a variety of quartz, the birthstone for April, including raw stones, polished crystals, and flower-shaped ones. ✨✨ Please feel free to stop by during your stroll. All of our staff are waiting for you with smiles! 😃
