This is Ouchi-juku, Fukushima Prefecture!

These are the photos I took when I went to various places!

(1) Snow ... A few years ago, I moved from the snowless Kanto region to Tohoku, and the snow that falls almost every year is still a winter tradition. (2) Snow tires... It is essential for snow countries, and I bought it myself for the first time in my life and am using it now. The photo is a collaboration amulet of Bridgestone's Blizzac (snow tire). (3) Winter in Japan is also the exam season. I often buy amulets to pray for success or ask that I don't slip (I don't fail the exam). The amulet in this photo is a cross between the road surface and the exam and not slipping. I think it represents the winter snow, snow tires, exams, and non-slip Japan of (1) to (3).

I heard on the news that it was going to snow, so I took my camera for a walk in the morning. The rice fields and trees were dyed white and beautiful.

This is a photo of Ouchi-juku in Fukushima Prefecture. I was impressed by the beauty of the snow that piled up on the old-fashioned house.

This year, a small snowman pasha ? for my nephew and niece, who live in an area with no snow forecast.

It's like a winter wonderland! Looks really cold though lol. I'd seen on the news how bad the snow was getting in parts of Akita, especially Yokote but it looks like it's just cold everywhere this year. The plus side is Japan has a lot of beautiful scenery so when the snow starts to pile up like this it makes for some beautiful photography (like we're seeing here). I really like this photo though, you can practically hear how quiet and cold it is. It almost makes me want to get outside and go camping with a big ol' campfire and a heavy duty tent. I know my girlfriend would never agree to go though to a place with this much snow though ?Hope everyone is staying safe from the cold! Be sure to take some photos of the beautiful scenery while you can though. No snow here in Tokyo though (unfortunately??).

Winter in Japan is snowy! However, you can feel the warmth from the snow that has fallen quickly. Winter still continues, so let's get through this winter with the healing of the snowy landscape! (By the way, the photo was taken in Akita.) ）

Looking at this picture I realized I've never actually seen fireworks in the snow. I've done them for New Years of course, but living in Tokyo it doesn't snow much. Also where I was from the in the US we didn't get a lot of snow either. This looks like a lot of fun though. I didn't get to do fireworks this New Years but I was able to have a lot of fun still. Ate some great food with some great people and had fun playing games together. I've visited Aomori a few times in the past though and it was a lot of fun so maybe next year I'll head out there and enjoy these fireworks for New Years! Either way, this Kabushima Shrine looks really beautiful on top of the hill. The path leading up to the shrine and the torii gates are really neat. I looked it up a little more and it looks like a lot of seagulls gather at the shrine as well. Makes sense since it's right next to the beach. Really awesome!

[It became a hot topic on SNS] Ad tracks that carry happiness "Arpajon Santa" It is an ad truck that operates in Aomori Prefecture during the Christmas season. In the snow, I came to the Tatehana Quay morning market venue in Hachinohe City early in the morning!

Held in Machiniwa, Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture "Ice Sculpture Exhibition" In 2019 "Salmon crawling, seagulls flapping their wings" It is an ice sculpture made by four chefs of Hachinohe Plaza Hotel over a period of six hours. It was beautifully lit up at night!

This is a really fitting video for this time of year. It's already getting really cold and beautiful snowscapes are starting to pop up all over the place. It's pretty unfortunate that coronavirus has made everything so hectic around the world, as I would have really loved to go to the Sapporo Snow Festival this year. Unfortunately it was cancelled, which is probably for the best, but maybe I can go check it out next year. I'd love to head over to Akita to check out some of the igloos too, as that sounds really interesting and I don't know much about the area. This article has a ton of places that I'll be adding to my list of travel destinations for the future! Idk about the snowboarding though, it's been a few years since I last went and I don't think it'd be too good on my knees lol! I hear the slopes in Japan are great though, so who knows, I might give it another shot if I head out to Zao!

Immediately after getting off at Yotsuya 3-chome Station in Tokyo, a crustacean specialty store is located in the well-known gourmet town "Arakicho"! On this day, cooked rice ?? with extra-large crab The rough loosened crab meat is juicy. When you stir it in with the rice and take a bite, the flavor of the crab soaked in the rice grains is combined to make it the most delicious! Before I knew it, I had refilled two cups. Have a full stomach of seasonal crabs. Japan is one of the winter pleasures.
