開智国際日本語学校(Kaichi International School of Japanese)

The other day, I went to Hachihaku with a group of new students. The official name of "Hachihaku" is "Kuwato Japan Heritage Center Hachioji Museum", and it is a museum where you can learn about the culture and history of Hachioji. At "Hachihaku", we had a car doll experience and weaving experience. Since it is located right in front of Hachioji Station, it seems to be very popular as a facility that you can easily go to.

The "Kyosho Gakusha and Friends Harvest Festival" featuring dairy products produced at Kyokyo Gakusha Shintoku Farm will be held for two days on November 11 (Sat) and 12 (Sun) in Higashinakano, Tokyo. At the harvest festival, products made at five cooperative schools nationwide and products from people who support the cooperative schools will be lined up. Processed products such as cheese will also be exhibited from Shintoku Farm, and it seems that not only sales but also cheese production personnel will visit the venue on the day, so please take this opportunity to hear about cheese.

Today, I would like to introduce "Fuya Bread", which has been in Hachioji for more than 100 years. This shop is a 2-minute walk from Hachioji station. It's a very personal story, but it's also the bakery where my grandmother, who passed away two years ago at the age of 99, used to eat when she was a child. My grandmother told me that she used to eat anpan a lot, so I bought anpan and three loaves of bread. The bread was small in size and had a very nostalgic earthy taste. There are so many international students who get addicted to Japanese bread and get fat. There are many ?✨ unique shops such as popular melon bakeries and traditional bakeries in Hachioji.

I took this photo on the riverbed near the school, where I went to my high school photography club. It is a troublesome weed that usually grows on the ground, but when I took a photo, it bloomed like a fireworks in the sky, and it was very interesting to see what I usually see when I change my point of view. In addition, the "sticking mush" taken in the backlight of the setting sun seemed to invert the light shadows between the sky and the blooming fireworks, signaling the end of summer.

Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the city The 41st Urayasu City fireworks festival ? A fiery strong fireworks. Urayasu's fireworks everyone was shouting "Kagiya!" and Tamaya and Kagiya were worried and looked it up. It seems to be the name of a fireworks master who was active in the Edo period ... Kagiya seems to be a popular fireworks master who has grown to become a purveyor of the Edo shogunate! I learned about "Tamaya" and "Kagiya" for the first time from the Edo period!

I would like to introduce you to the "Ramen and Tsukemen Specialty Store Original Toshiratei Binbin Main Store" in front of the school. This is a ramen with plenty of onions, just like the Hachioji ramen I introduced earlier. Even when I visited, the store was so popular with foreigners that you could hear languages other than Japanese. Also, since it is a famous store, I have heard that there are many celebrity regulars. Our school has a dormitory on the upper floor of the school. Students who got stuck in "bottles" often said that they go to eat! You're ✨ lucky to have a delicious ramen shop in front of your school.

Hakone Komagatake Ropeway resumes operation on Wednesday, September 20
A superb view from the sky connecting the shores of Lake Ashi and the highest observation deck in Hakone

The "Hakone Komagatake Ropeway" located in Pleasure Land Hakoneen on the shore of Lake Ashi in Hakone had been suspended since June 19 for annual inspection and repair work, but resumed operation on Wednesday, September 20.
