I took a picture at "Entsuin" in autumn. Entsuin Temple is a temple of the Rinzai sect of Myoshinji Temple adjacent to Zuiwaji Temple in Matsushima-cho, Miyagi Prefecture (Matsushima, Three Views of Japan), and is also designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. You can enjoy not only the autumn leaves but also the scenery of the four seasons here, and there is also a kimono rental plan during the season, which is very popular with people from overseas.

Located in the southern part of the Oga Peninsula, "Unozaki Coast" This place is registered as one of the "100 Best Beaches in Japan" and is a superb view spot representing Oga where you can see a superb view like the Salar de Uyuni. This beach is a shallow beach, which is rare in Japan, and it is a beach where families with children can play with peace of mind. In the evening, you can see an even more beautiful view with the brilliance of the setting sun.

Magan takes off all at once at sunrise This is "Izunuma", which straddles Kurihara City and Tome City in Miyagi Prefecture, and is a wild bird spot famous for the large number of magan geese flying in from the end of October every year. In particular, "Izunuma and Uchinuma" are said to be the best migratory bird flying places in Japan, where about 80% of the geese that come to Japan spend. It is especially famous for its early morning flight and evening roosting, and the scenery is so spectacular that it is popular with non-birdwatchers.

Chusonji Temple, one of the most popular temples in Tohoku It is a temple of the Tendai sect Tohoku Daihonzan located in Hiraizumi Town, Nishiiwai District, Iwate Prefecture. In 2011, it was registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Chusonji Temple is famous for its gorgeous golden hall, but there are many other attractions such as Benkei-do, Yakushi-do, and Hondo. By the way, the photo is "Benzaitendo" in the precincts of Chusonji Temple. It is said that it was donated in 1705 by Senhime of the Sendai feudal lord Date Tsunamura. This is a famous photo spot that is crowded with photographers.

A standard spot for autumn leaves representing Miyagi Prefecture "Naruko Gorge" Especially popular is the colorful autumn leaves seen from "Ofukasawa Bridge". Furthermore, there is a tunnel of the JR Rikuu East Line on the precipitous cliff in the autumn leaves, and you can see the train running through the autumn leaves. During the autumn foliage season, the train runs slowly for passengers, so if the timing is right, you can take a picture of the train the moment it exits the tunnel.

The golden rice terraces that make you feel the arrival of autumn are just about to be harvested. This is a terraced rice field protected in an area called "Kitaura Safety Temple" that spreads out in the mountainous area of Oga City, Akita Prefecture. Beyond the terraced rice fields, you can see the mountains of the "Three Mountains of Oga (Mayama, Motoyama, and Mt. Momu)", and clean spring water flows from the mountains, moistening the terraced rice fields and producing delicious rice. I'm looking forward to the delicious rice~.

Located in Ugo Town, Akita Prefecture, Nishi Baonnai Bon Odori is a summer festival with a history and tradition of more than 700 years, which is counted as one of the three major Bon Odori dances in Japan along with the Gujo Odori of Gifu Prefecture and the Awa Odori of Tokushima Prefecture. The venue is Nishimaonnai Honmachi Street, which is the central village of Ugo Town, and it is a bon event held for 3 days from August 16th ~ 18th every year. It was mysterious and gorgeous to see dancers dressed in distinctive torioi hats (knitted hats), colorful and beautifully stitched kimonos and yukatas, dancing gracefully to the beating of taiko drums and songs. Especially this year, as it was the first regular event in four years, people from outside the town were able to participate in the dance, and many people from inside and outside the prefecture came to see it. Photos of the festival will continue after this, but I hope you can see it.

The Sendai Tanabata Festival concludes the three major festivals in the Tohoku region. Colorful streamers can be seen in the arcades in the center of Sendai City and throughout the city, giving you a cool summer feeling. This year, which was held normally for the first time since 2019, infection control measures have been greatly relaxed, The scenery of many tourists wading through the streamers has returned to the central shopping street.

Takekoma Shrine, located in the center of Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, is a venerable Inari shrine that is counted as one of the three major Inari shrines in Japan. Every year from July ~ the end of August, "Summer Visits" are held here, and during the period, glass wind chimes and original wind chimes of white foxes are displayed on the approach to the shrine grounds, and summer attire that feels cool is applied. The wind chimes swaying in the wind play a summery tone, so you will feel cool.
