Kobe Municipal Oji Zoo Favorite composition ? Everyone is photographing the Hunter House from the courtyard of the Hunter House, but that would only be the same photo as if the cherry blossoms did not enter. I dare to shoot with this composition with a telephoto lens from the outside of the fence alone outside the Hunter House. The beautiful cherry blossoms are blooming, so I want to make the venerable building look gorgeous. However, with this composition, the outside fence is captured, so a good telephoto lens is required.

Series "Kobe, rediscovered" Today, the ninth stage, we will deliver the Port Tower, a symbol of Kobe, which is also called the beauty of the steel tower. Its height is 108 meters, and the hyperboloid tower with a smooth constriction in the center is illuminated to unleash its crimson beauty into the sea, sky, city and mountains. Currently, renovation work is underway, and an open observation facility will be installed on the roof of the highest place. When it is completed, you can expect a night view while blowing in the fragrant sea breeze and a view of the blue sea shining in the sunlight, and I am very much looking forward to it! !! It seems that the reopening will be in the spring of 2024, and it is completely covered now, but after sunset, projection mapping will be projected and you can enjoy the production.

"Kobe, rediscovered" Today, the eighth stage of the series, we will deliver the view from the Kikuseidai of Mt. Maya. In the vicinity of the previous "Kobe Sakura Tunnel", which climbed uphill, there is a Maya Cable station. This cable car and the Maya ropeway further up are called the Maya View Line, and you can reach the top of Mt. Maya by connecting the two. There is an observatory called Kuseidai (本星台), and below you can see a 10 million dollar night view from downtown Kobe to Osaka Bay and the city of Osaka on the opposite bank. The word "scooping up the stars" means "scooping up the stars," and the name comes from the fact that the countless lights of the night view are likened to stars, and you can look down at the stars that you can scoop with your hands. This photo was taken just before dawn, when the eastern sky was beginning to be tinted with sunrise, and I tried to scoop up the stars that fell from the night sky to the ground, but instead I was buried in the stars. The summit is about 700m above sea level and there is a temperature difference from the city, and the air is very fresh! !! On this day, I climbed the driveway, and it seems that you can ride the Maya View Line with a bicycle using a bicycle bag. You can also rent an electric assist bicycle at the top, and you can go to Rokko Ranch.

It was lit up at night at Meriken Park in Kobe, and it was ? very beautiful with various lights coming on, disappearing, and changing color. There was a white screen along the way, and there was a beautiful spot where you could shine light and reflect your shadow! (Can you see it?) There was a bar with a vinyl curtain in the back. I was a little disappointed for a minor who was intrigued and approached by what the store in the back was w

Today, in the series "Kobe, Rediscovered", we will deliver the "Cherry Blossom Tunnel" in Nada Ward, a famous place for cherry blossoms, as the seventh stage. The weather has finally passed spring, and the cherry blossom season is approaching again this year. This famous spot in Takao-dori, Nada-ku, Kobe City, is a slope of about 400 meters from north to south, and 70 old Yoshino cherry trees are planted on both sides of the road. This row of cherry blossom trees was planted in the Taisho era at the same time as the opening of the Maya Cable. The appearance is shaped like branches and leaves on both sides covering the road like a tunnel, so I think you can comfortably enjoy the cherry blossom trees if you walk through it leisurely. The photo was taken on April 2 of last year, when it was in full bloom. The petals in the foreground are dyed red by traffic lights (photographing the cherry blossoms at night before dawn) Please note that during the flowering season, there are a little more people passing by, and this is a road that city buses also pass through. At the top of the hill is the Maya Cable station. You can go to the top of Mt. Maya by cable car, so next time I would like to deliver the night view from the Kikuseidai.

"Kobe, rediscovered" The sixth stage of the series will deliver the art port city of Kobe. The large hotel is located on a protruding wharf in the harbor and is moored by various large ships such as luxury liners. I like it best when a sailing ship is docked (Japan Maru in the photo), and the port already has the atmosphere of an overseas resort! The hotel's wave-inspired design is very artistic, and the sailing ship that moves with the power of the wind is truly the ultimate in functional beauty. And in the background, the sunrise of the great nature was painted. At this time of the morning, people are walking and running... I often use Twitter, and when I posted photos of this hotel, I often received replies saying that it was a place of memories. I pray that the city of people, the sky, and the sea will continue to create many memories in the future.

The fifth stage of the series "Kobe, Rediscovered" will deliver the Ferris wheel Wonder Wheel from Kobe Harborland. This very symbolic Ferris wheel was originally opened at a leisure facility called AOIA on Rokko Island, and was in the spotlight as the world's first large Ferris wheel with an illumination function. I had a very strong impression of this time, and I used to look at this Ferris wheel from the mountains with its sparkling in the sea at night. However, the leisure facilities were damaged by the earthquake, and the Ferris wheel was relocated here in Harborland. Now he is completely Lord-like. In the daytime, the Ferris wheel is iridescent with sunlight, and at night, the illuminations of people create an illusion. Harborland is very lively day and night. It is a large Ferris wheel that always accompanies the bustle with flowers.

Series "Kobe, rediscovered" The fourth stage is the "Silver Knight" who roams the modern city. This is the former settlement of Kobe, which has an exotic atmosphere. In the 25th building, there is a very beautiful knight who stops the eyes of people passing by. This is a show window of a luxury brand store, but is it full-scale? ?? I couldn't help but stop and look at the knight statue. Kobe Settlement is a settlement for foreigners who moved to the trading port of Kobe in the Meiji era. It was once a gorgeous area of Western culture, and today it is a fashion hub with luxury brand stores. The neighborhood is calm and crowded, and there is a very chic atmosphere. I think you can enjoy relaxing shopping or window shopping and fully enjoy your adult time.

Hotel Okura Kobe's garden. On a day when snow piled up in Kobe, the Japan garden was covered in snow. Hotel Okura Kobe has excellent buildings, rooms, meals, and the service of the staff. I love this hotel, I recommend it.

"Kobe, rediscovered" Today, the third stage of the series, a locomotive "stopped" in the city ... It is a D51 popularly known as Degoichi. This locomotive, which was active in Hokkaido until 1975 (Showa 50), is parked along the JR Kobe Station line (closer to Osaka) due to the wishes of volunteers. The photo was taken this year, but there is an "infinite" plate inside the illumination! !! It is said that this is exactly named after the demon exorcism of Setsubun. It seems that the light up is automatically lit by the light sensor, and when it starts to get dark to some extent, you can see the fantastic infinite locomotive. Everyone was taking pictures on this day as well. There are many people in this area as well, but if you listen to your heart, you may hear the whistle of the night train departing at 17:31:65.

The second stage of the Kobe, Rediscovery series is the story of a cat who lives in a shrine. A crest of chrysanthemum flowers in running water ... This crest, famous as the family crest of the Kusunoki clan, resembles the rising sun from the horizon. This is the Minatogawa Shrine where Kusunoki Masanari is celebrated. At the shrine, three cats were always looking down at the people who came and went from the roof tiles. When I passed through here for the first time in several years, I was still relaxed... Feeling smaller than before? Maybe there has been a generational change. At this time, I photographed one of the two dogs. Relaxing in this way, I was still looking down at the people who came and went. Please visit when you take a walk in Kobe. There are a lot of people on the street, so please be careful not to look too high and bump into it.

When you walk around Kobe, you will find many things. I would like to deliver such something that caught my eye as the "Kobe, Rediscovered" series. The first stage is the work of Kobe-born sculptor Hirokazu Ichii. "Rainbow Floating Statue" Sunlight from far away space encountered water droplets on the earth after rain and created rainbow colors. I hope that many such miraculous encounters will be born in Kobe, and that many wonderful rainbows will be cast. It is written. This is a statue that I stopped when I was walking along the center street of Sannomiya. I hope that when you come to Kobe, you will find it. There are a lot of people on the street, so please be careful not to face down too much and bump into it.
