The well-maintained, spacious bamboo grove makes it safe and enjoyable even with children. The bamboo shoots come from moso bamboo, a species that grows only in the southern part of Nagano Prefecture. Fine bamboo shoots! Aim at the base and swing once! If you wish, we can prepare grilled bamboo shoots from what you harvest. Toyo Terrace parking lot serves as the grilled bamboo shoot venue. Plunge freshly harvested bamboo shoots, still in their husks, into bamboo charcoal! We use bamboo charcoal—made by burning bamboo—as the heat source for the footbath!
