From Takaosanguchi Station to the cable car boarding area, you will find TAKAO 599 MUSEUM. This facility displays insect specimens and taxidermy of creatures that live on Mt. Takao. Once every hour, a projection mapping show highlights what makes Mt. Takao special. A café on site lets you enjoy a good cup of coffee while gazing at nature. I once viewed the specimens with students from our school, and the students from Sri Lanka, who had never had the chance before, were deeply moved. Mt. Takao is home to many rare creatures. Studying in such a nature-rich setting is a valuable experience for students.

Ladies and gentlemen watching the COOL JAPAN VIDEOS! Nice to meet you! Noboribetsu Bear Park. Located in Noboribetsu City, Hokkaido, "Noboribetsu Bear Park Noboribetsu Mabokujo" is a ranch where the rich nature and cute bears welcome you at the top of a Mt. Shihorei where Lake Kuttara is located. In this post, we will inform you about the details of the Noboribetsu Bear Park and sightseeing in the surrounding area. First of all, we will introduce the facility information of Noboribetsu Bear Park. As of 2023, Noboribetsu Bear Park has about 70 brown bears in captivity. There are several exhibits of Ezo brown bears in the bear farm, and you can see male brown bears at Farm 1, female brown bears at Farm 2, and 0-year-old cubs at Baby Bear Farm end of April ~ beginning of December. Bears in Ranch 1 and Ranch 2 can be given bear treats. Enjoy the feeding experience with cute bears begging for treats! The male bears in the first farm are much larger than the females and beg for snacks leisurely. In addition, there is a "human cage" where you can observe bears at close range through the glass, so you can enjoy watching bears carefully. Please enjoy a commemorative photo with the bear through the glass. The female bears in Ranch No. 2 are very active, standing on two legs, lying down, and begging for treats in fancy poses. You can observe the movement, dexterity and cleverness of the bear. In addition, the second farm also holds individual replacement events for "young bears" and "veteran bears" on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. In addition, we hold "Bear Athletics" twice a day where you can see bears' abilities such as excellent sense of balance and manual dexterity, such as "log walking" and "forage hunting" by bears. In addition to bears, "squirrel enclosure" also raises Eurasian red squirrel and chipmunks. Ducks are raised at the duck racing course, and you can watch duck races 6 times a day. If you successfully hit the target of the duck that finishes with one dress, you will receive original goods. Bear Farm has plenty of other facilities to enjoy! The Brown Bear Museum exhibits materials about taxidermy and brown bears by generation. On the second floor, there is also a trick art corner where brown bears jump out. Please enjoy taking a commemorative photo. At Kumayama Cafe on the first floor, you can enjoy coffee and sweets, as well as original menus with bear motifs such as "Bear Foot Curry" and various gourmet foods such as Noboribetsu local gourmet "Enma Ramen". Went to Diver City in Tokyo over the weekend. We'd visited in the past as well but my gf's friend was in town so we decided to go again. There's so much to do there that it would take a month to do everything probably. We decided to go to the "Unko Museum" this time lol. It was a lot more fun than I was expecting to be honest. When the clerks would say "thank you" they would say "arigatounko" and it was pretty funny. It was really colorful and there was a bunch of different games you could try as well. We heard people yelling "unko" extremely loudly and were confused until we found out that it was a game. The objective of the game was to yell "unko" as loud as you can, and whoever managed to do so, would create the bigger poop. It was embarassing to do, but at the same time pretty funny I managed to win lol😂. Besides the "Unko Museum," we also did the VR experience and ran away from zombies, etc. Couldn't take photos since we were in VR but it was fun. We also ate dinner at a steak restaurant that was pretty good and picked up a couple desserts before leaving. Lots of fun though. Definitely plan on going again lol.

Some photos I took during my visit to the Edo-Tokyo Museum. I really enjoyed seeing the recreations of the Edo cityscape and seeing what the city would have looked like back in the day. I like that you can also get a feel for what life was like at that time and you can even see people doing various jobs or holding tools related to them. I enjoyed seeing the boats as well, as it showed how shipping would been carried out at the time, and you also get to see the architecture of the ships, which was really awesome in my honest opinion. I also tried getting a decent photo of Tokugawa Ieyasu but I was really short on time when visiting as the museum was about to close, so I definitely need to go back there again. I wanted to see some of the other exhibits as well, stuff like the Great Kanto Earthquake exhibits, etc. so I have an excuse to visit again lol.

I managed to get a good workout in today as well. I can already feel my stomach muscles starting to get sore. I found a pretty decent coffee today. Decided to try something besides a black coffee today. Still a Boss coffee but it has a pretty low sugar content and doesn't taste too sweet or too bitter. Considering trying a new one tomorrow but this one was quite good so I might just be drinking this from now on. I want to keep my options open but it's hard to keep searching once you find something good. I found a photo that I forgot to upload before. I visited the Edo Tokyo Museum and outside there was a statue of Tokugawa Ieyasu riding a turtle lol... It's probably one of the more interesting statues I've seen in Japan but I suppose it symbolizes power and longevity, which Ieyasu certainly had both of.

This looks like a really cool place to visit in Yamanashi if you're heading over to Mt. Fuji or the five lakes. Apparently this place Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba was destroyed by a landslide caused by a typhoon in the 60s but was rebuilt some 40 years later. Looks like there's a bunch of stuff to do as well: museums, galleries, craft making experiences, etc. I'm curious as to whether or not the thatched roofs are constructed the same way as the Gassho-zukuri roofs of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, as they look very similar. I bet it'd look really nice in the winter when it snows and there's also cherry blossoms in the area so that'd be nice for visiting in the spring. Looks fun!

That is one beautiful looking chandelier. I can imagine it cost quite a bit of money. Incidentally I'd never seen the kanji for Yebisu before, nor had I heard of Yebisu Garden Place. Looks like a really awesome place to go for dinner or lunch as it has some nice restaurants and cafes both high-class and reasonably priced which is nice. Probably be nice to go for a date actually. Do some shopping and then stop by for dinner or even just go for lunch and then walk around the area and see everything there is. I guess there's an art museum and a theatre as well, so yeah this place is like a 10/10 for going on dates probably lol. I'd like to check out the beer museum personally sounds pretty interesting and you can get samples too if you pay a small fee it looks like
