Hirosaki Castle Flower Raft 2024.04.20 In Hirosaki Castle, there is a "Team Sakura Guard", and this team protects the cherry blossoms. Akita prefecture is a breathtaking destination that boasts of magnetic wilderness and a perfect climate for growing the most delicious apples you have ever tasted. During my recent visit to the Yokote Kamakura Festival, my eyes were caught by the sight of sugar-coated, bright-red Akita apples that looked incredibly tempting. Without second thoughts, I grabbed one and took a bite. The sweetness was unlike anything I had ever tasted before, and it left me craving for more. It was truly an exhilarating experience!

"The Tree That Saved My Life" This is "Isehama Beach" in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture. On March 11, 2011, the Great East Japan Earthquake caused a massive tsunami, and miraculously, several people climbed this tree and saved their lives, so it is called "the tree that saved lives."

It is the Hanakiri River in Tohoku Town, Kamikita District, Aomori Prefecture. It is a stream that leads to Lake Ogawara and is famous for trout fishing. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom on both banks, and on days when there is no wind, it becomes a water mirror as shown in the photo. According to the neighbors, the swan in the photo seems to be a swan that lives here. They were swimming gracefully as if they were cherry blossom viewing.

It is a beautiful sunrise in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture. The building you can see in the back is a restaurant called "Kofunato". This place was caught in the tsunami during the Great East Japan Earthquake, but miraculously escaped total destruction despite the damage. It's a restaurant that is loved by the locals, and it's a very good place, so I'm really glad it's back.

It is a wonderful place with a building that does not look like Japan. Now a solar panel has been installed next to it, and I can't go inside. It is said that photography is a once-in-a-lifetime event, but I am really glad that I took it when I could.

The Akita Inland Railway runs through Kitaakita City, Akita Prefecture. It is a scene unique to heavy snowfall areas. It is a local line with a basic one-car train, but it is very cute to see it running in a wonderful scenery.

Sendai Pageant of Light

It is a temple called "Korinji" located in the Tome region of Miyagi Prefecture. It was designated as an important cultural property of Miyagi Prefecture in Showa 47, and is said to be the second oldest wooden building in Miyagi Prefecture. During the season, many people gather to catch a glimpse of this beautiful approach, and especially in autumn, the scenery of autumn leaves and ginkgo biloba shows a wonderful view. Depending on the timing, you can see a carpet of red autumn leaves.
