The other day, we went boat diving to the popular area "Tago" in Nishi-Izu! ⛴️✨

On Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, the Yuzen Shrine Autumn Grand Festival will be held.
This festival gives thanks for the hot springs, prays that the emerging spring veins will never cease, and wishes for the continued prosperity of Atami Onsen.
After the COVID-19 pandemic the festival has been essentially limited to Shinto rites, and this year, as in the previous year, a portable shrine procession from the shrine is scheduled on the second day (October 5).

All ten of Shimoda’s beaches closed their swimming season on August 31. Thank you to everyone who visited this year.
After the season ends, designated swimming and surf zones disappear, and regulations such as "prohibited," "caution," or "permitted" no longer apply; lifeguards and beach patrols that were on duty at the bathing sites are withdrawn.

A water-accident advisory is also in effect. With hot days likely to continue, please take care of weather, water temperature, and wave conditions if you go swimming. Be equally careful around other bodies of water.

Even outside the official swimming season, you can still enjoy time by the sea as marine therapy.
For marine sports, there are experiences suitable for beginners, including sea kayaking, surf lessons, and diving.

The other day, I went to the popular diving spot "Izu Marine Park (IOP)" in Higashi-Izu.
This time, we had guests from Spain and guests from the United States living in Japan. It was a 🤿✨ very international dive

On the day of the dive, we were divided into two teams: the experience diving team and the fun dive team.
The experience diving team started by snorkeling and getting used to the sea. Scene observed colorful fish in a shallow area with high transparency, and the guests seemed 😄 to be having a lot of fun
After that, I tried to breathe in water for the first time. I was a little nervous at first, but I soon got used to it and was able to dive calmly. In addition, I tried water photography, and I was able to enjoy 👏 it with so much leeway that I couldn't believe it was the first time

Making seabed Aged wine on a sunken ship|Special tour Held in in Higashi-Izu and Irisawa!
Hello, I'm Hokule'a Shonan!
This time, we successfully held in 😊 our special project, "Making Aged Wine on the Sea Floor in Sunken Ships"

This time, the wine was sunk in a sunken ship at a depth of -24 meters in water in Irisawa in Higashi-Izu.
In fact, it is said that the origin of "seabed Aged wine" is an old wine that was accidentally discovered in a sunken ship.
The swaying waves, the quiet environment, the shading and the constant water temperature created an ideal aged environment for the wines.

We Reproduction the "Submarine Cellar" this time!
The specially prepared bottles were sealed with sealing wax and the carefully prepared wine was transported to the sea.
The space inside the wreck is "just the right size" as if it was prepared for this wine.
The scenery peeking out from the side was truly fantastic, and it was a scenery that made me feel somewhat "romantic".

54th Shimoda Onsen Hydrangea Festival Bloom Report [Overall about 50% in bloom]

The hydrangeas at Shimoda Park are about 50% in bloom overall!
From the entrance to Kaikoku Plaza they are at their best 💠✨

All around the park, colorful flowers have begun to open, creating a soothing scene even for a simple walk.
Blue, purple, pink, white… the variety of hydrangeas you can see is one of Shimoda Park’s charms 🎨!

Hydrangea color famously changes with soil conditions, and at Shimoda Park the fertilizer applied varies each year and the grounds are sloped, so runoff causes a mix of hues you can enjoy 👀💙💜

Near the colony area, the Hydrangea Terrace Café is open ☕🌿
(Open every day during the Hydrangea Festival; may close due to weather, 9:00–16:00)
Their limited-quantity plum squash (600 yen) is said to be popular ✨

However, it was so popular the plums ran out, so this time they offered the seasonal New Summer Orange ade instead!

It was refreshing with a hint of sweetness and very tasty 🍊
The plums should be ready in a little while!
They also offer many drinks perfect for a break while admiring the hydrangeas.

Kaikoku Plaza also has food, drink, and shopping areas 👍

Some buds remain, but in sunny spots the hydrangeas are gently opening in a rainbow of colors, making this a great time for photos 📷

Hello! This is Hokule'a Shonan.
Today, we went diving in the sea of Higashi-Izu and Kawana with two teams!

One team will participate in the fun diving.
On this day, the sea conditions were good and the transparency was outstanding!
We encountered sea turtles and Squid in the Water, and it was 🐢🦑 a very exciting dive
And... What! Some 👏✨ guests celebrated their 100th dive on this day.
Congratulations indeed! We will continue to support an even more wonderful diving life in the future!

The other team is a refresher team.
Even if you are a little worried because you will be diving in yellowtail for a long time, we dived while carefully checking the basic skills so that you can participate with peace of mind.

From Hokule'a Shonan, we would like to introduce an exciting new project.

It's called the "Undersea Wine Tour"!

In fact, it There are a method of Aged wine that is currently attracting worldwide attention.
That is "seabed Aged".

In the sea, there is little change in temperature, no light reaches it, and it is very quiet.
This special environment mellows the taste of the wine and leads to a deeper Traditional Japanese straw raincoat.

🌊✨ In photogenic Shizuura, enjoy ✨📸 the beauty of water

Shizuura in Nishi-Izu is a diving Spot known for its beautiful Water landscapes and calm waters. This time, Hokule'a Shonan Held in a photo tour and divemaster training in Shizuura.

Guests are transformed into water photographers with underwater cameras in their hands. From the fantastic scenery of swaying seaweed to the creatures of the macroscopic world, I captured the moment of my choice.

On the other hand, the members who participated in the divemaster training practiced rope work and honed their safety management skills, and acquired skills while having fun. It was a fulfilling day full of learning and laughter.
