Located in the town of Shimogo in Japan, Ouchijuku is a famous scenic spot in Aizu-gun, Fukushima Prefecture, and is home to one of Japan's three largest thatched houses, and the village retains the Edo period post station building, and you can feel the feelings left by history. There is also a snow festival in Ouchijuku, which is held in February every year, and when I visited, it was in January, so I couldn't feel the snow festival, but of course there is a tasting of Ouchijuku must eat~ "Ohuchijuku wheat noodles", and it is very interesting to enjoy it instead of chopsticks!

Warning: A southern low-pressure system is approaching! The lowest temperature in the Nobeyama Highlands today was −13.3°C🌡️ It ranked first nationwide for the first time in a while, but I hardly noticed the cold—I only realized when a reporter called and asked, "Wasn’t it cold this morning?" 😅 On Sunday, Nobeyama is forecast to see snowfall due to the southern low-pressure system☃️ If you plan to visit, please take extra care for snow accumulation, icy roads, and slipping hazards⚡

Located in Yamagata Prefecture in Tohoku Japan, Zao is a skiing mecca with a magnificent landscape of trees and ice. During the visit, in January, a strong cold wind caused the conifers on the mountain to freeze, and the ice gradually formed. At this time, the visibility at the top of Zao Mountain is very low, and the tree ice can only be faintly visible, because the tree ice is shaped like a monster, so the tree ice is also called a snow monster. Photographing the magnificent landscape of the tree ice on the Tree Ice Plateau is not a wasted trip.

With the Tsubetsu Ice Candle Festival just two days away, the vinyl sheets that had been covering the snow sculptures were removed, and we finally reunited with them after a long time. Meow The kamakura (snow hut) is still standing strong! It endured the recent unexpected warm days well…😂 For minor dirt, we gently dabbed snow on like face powder to brighten it up… The night before last, the steering committee members also prepared the snow platforms by hand! After final preparations tomorrow, the Ice Candle Festival will begin at 2:00 PM the day after tomorrow. We look forward to welcoming everyone at Sansan Hall! #Okhotsk #okhotsk #Tsubetsu #tsubetsu #Tsubetsu #Tsubetsu Town #Hokkaido #Hokkaido #12th Tsubetsu Ice Candle Festival #Tsubetsu Ice Candle Festival #Tsubetsu Town Multipurpose Activity Center Sansan Hall #Event Information #Eastern Hokkaido Events #Sansan Hall #Ice Candle #Event #Ice Candle Festival #Kamakura (snow hut) #Snow Sculpture
