In this post, we will introduce some of them.

The ruins of the Gusuku period scattered throughout Okinawa are called "Gusuku castle".
Chinese ceramics are sometimes unearthed from Gusuku, and it is a spot where you can feel the remnants of the era when trade with overseas was thriving.

In addition, if you apply to the town environmental conservation division, you can use it as a campsite for free.

"Mifuga Rock" on the shore of Yamatodomari is a tourist destination that means "female rock" in dialect.

The "Maine Beach", "Nakano Beach", and "Hatinu Beach" floating in the northeast of the Kume Island are collectively called "Hatenohama", and you can enjoy various marine activities!

There are plenty of diving spots in the Kume Island for beginners to intermediate divers and above.
Recommended for beginners, "Manta Station" is a popular manta ray encounter spot. You can enjoy Black Manta watching up close.
In addition, the diving spot "Tombara", which is representative of the Kume Island with a huge rock height of about 50 m, has a maximum depth of 30 m, which is suitable for intermediate skiers and above, and the tide is strong, but it is also an attractive spot because there is a possibility of encountering schools of migratory fish, hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, etc.

You can also explore the beautiful ocean world on a snorkeling tour.
You can also enjoy the charm of Kumejima by strolling along the coastline in a "sea kayak" where you can enjoy the surrounding scenery while paddling on the sea.
There is also a two-seater kayak, so you can enjoy it even with children.

At the "Kume Island Horse Farm" where you can enjoy interacting with the horses, you can enjoy horse play that can only be experienced here!
You can also use the "Umi Uma Asobi" to enter the sea while riding a horse, as well as your favorite horse play and a back menu on request.

Yajiyagama Cave, the longest limestone cave in the Kume Island, which is about 800 meters long, offers year-round exploration programs.
Depending on the program, you can explore the mysterious limestone cave in about 1 and a half ~ 2 hours.

Don't miss the gourmet food of Kumejima!
Kumejima is also famous as a shrimp farming pond.
The quality is highly evaluated by the industry, and it is also certified as a "base production area" by Okinawa Prefecture. The season is December ~ May.

【Kuroiwa Falls】 The introduction of the three waterfalls was also the last one left. Now it's about the non-red rock, the "Kuroiwa Falls"! It is quite a distance from the national highway, Once you reach Akaiwa Falls, you're almost there. Again, to the waterfall basin It's a short walk from the parking space, but there are few ups and downs. It is recommended for a casual stroll. We pass through a small stream and wade through the grass. The color of the rocks is also different. The shape of the waterfall was also slightly different from the other two waterfalls, and it was worth seeing. When I quietly listen to the sound of water Hours seem to go by in a blink of an eye. As expected, I was about to encounter a bear, so I rounded up in about ten minutes and went home. If you are intrigued by the waterfall, Why don't you visit before it gets cold? Please be careful when stepping.

I went to the Oyachi Annual Grand Festival in Oyachi, Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo City. This is the festival I was doing on the 22nd and 23rd. I visited the gods and said, "I will bother you," and went around the food stalls with two people, Honey Citrus @ Rainy Day and Sakuranomiya Alice. Personally, I liked that some of the chairs in the venue looked like school chairs. I bought shangpin and okonomiyaki and ate them. It tasted festival and was delicious! okonomiyaki was asked by the clerk, "Is mayonnaise okay?" When I replied, he added more mayonnaise than I expected. You did it. At the festival of Oyachi Shrine, they also hold events on stage, such as band performances, folk songs and Japanese drum performances, hula dances, games, and bingo tournaments, so I would like to see them next year. This year, I couldn't go to the festival at all due to my poor health on a rainy day and the busyness of Alice Sakuranomiya, but since there are various festival in various places in Hokkaido, the two of us said, "I want to go to various festival next year."

The Oi Shrine Grand Festival is also called the "Obi Festival" and is a festival in which the god of Oi Shrine returns to the old shrine site inn once every three years. Today, for three days including the second Sunday in October, a gorgeous festival is held in the town of Shimada where dainu, daimyo processions, Kashima odori, street stall dances from 1st Avenue to 5th Avenue, and ground dances are held. Especially on the last day, all of them form a large procession together with the mikoshi procession, and they slowly parade for a whole day for a round trip of about 4 km from Oi Shrine to the inn. Due to the appearance and swing of the dainu at this time, as well as the unique form of Kashima Odori, the obi festival has come to be counted as one of the three strange festival in Japan. In addition, since the Edo period, first-class entertainers from Edo have been invited to choreographed dances in each town, Nagauta, and shamisen, and Nagauta in particular is also called "Nagauta Festival" because the iemoto of each school competed for throat.

Hello COOL JAPAN VIDEOS viewers!
Nishiokoppe Village This is Kurashima, Regional Revitalization Cooperation Volunteers in charge of tourism.

I would like to deliver the charm of Hokkaido Nishiokoppe Village [tourist information]! Thank you in advance.

Hokkaido Nishiokoppe Village is located inland in the Sea of Okhotsk in the eastern Hokkaido region, has a population of 1,002 as of the end of July 2023 Reiwa 5, and forests account for about 90% of the village's area.
The contrast with forests and snowy landscapes is beautiful, and the walls of major buildings such as public facilities are unified in orange.

The temperature difference in our village is large, and it can be -20 degrees Celsius in winter and over 30 degrees Celsius in summer.
Although it is a harsh natural environment, it is full of hidden areas and sightseeing spots such as rich nature and waterfalls!

Then, Hokkaido Nishiokoppe Village
Here are some of the attractive sightseeing spots.

The "Ice Tunnel" at the foot of the Mt. Uenshiri is a fantastic popular tourist destination where the ice world spreads!
The tunnel created by the water flowing down due to the melting snow in spring is located in a mountain valley, so the ice does not melt even in summer, showing a mysterious world.
It is usually closed due to the risk of collapse, but in July this year, it was opened for one day only for the first time in four years.

"Roadside Station Nishiokoppe Kamu" is a spot where a flower park and Roadside Station are fused!

In the Roadside Station building, there is a wooden contraption organ "Otogibayashi" that plays sound with the power of the wind, which is rare in Japan, and the shop also sells dairy products such as soft-serve ice cream using grass-fed milk from Nishikobu, as well as processed Yezo sika deer products processed skin products, pet food, etc..

In the attached flower park, you can enjoy a garden based on the concept of a "natural garden" that reproduces natural plants and flowers that grow according to the climate and climate of the Nishiokoppe Village.

Located about 10 minutes by car from the Roadside Station Nishiokoppe Kamu, the Forest Museum Komu is an art museum based on the concepts of "seeing," "touching," "playing," and "creating."
Not only are about 3,000 wooden toys and works on display, but you can also actually touch and play with large wooden playground equipment.

Among them, the "wooden sandbox" containing 160,000 wooden balls is a popular work! You can enjoy the woodworking bath surrounded by the scent of wood.
In addition to seeing, you can also experience actually making it at the "Woodworking Experience Class"!
Enjoy a luxurious time to experience art in the forest.

The sightseeing spot "Gyoja no Taki" where you can feel the power of nature is a waterfall with a drop of 20 meters.
At the end of the Meiji era, it began to be called Gyono Falls because there was a woman who prayed for the cure of her parents' intractable illness after being struck by the waterfall.
In the upper reaches of Gyoja Falls, there is the beautiful brick-colored riverbed "Akaiwa Falls" and the "Kuroiwa Falls" that flows through the primeval forest of the Ezo spruce, and you can enjoy three waterfalls on one route.

Next, we will introduce campsites where you can enjoy magnificent nature and the outdoors!

The Forest Park will undergo large-scale renovation work over two years, 2022 Reiwa 4 and five years, and preparations are underway for the renewal and opening of the 2024 Reiwa 6, including the maintenance of tent sites and the installation of new playground equipment.
In 2023 Reiwa 5, the tent site is available until October 15, but the playground equipment cannot be used.
In addition, there is a paid log house in the park that can be used all year round, and a BBQ house that can be used for day trips.

Surrounded by primeval forest, "Uenshiri Campground" is a recommended campsite for wild camping because there are no cooking facilities.
Like the Ice Tunnel, it is located in Mt. Uenshiri and offers free access to one bungalow that can accommodate up to 10 people.
In addition, there is a risk of brown bears around the primeval forest, so be careful when using it.

Nishiokoppe Village is also known for the guitar factory "Okhotsk Musical Instrument Industry", where instruments with beautiful tones are born.
Okhotsk Musical Instrument Industry, which was founded in the form of taking over the timber company, currently produces 20,000 guitar bodies a year.
There is also a showroom in the annex of the guitar factory that you can enter for free, so you can feel free to visit it.
