Take a break at a local park. A small park located a little away from the city showed the face of autumn. When I was happy, when I was in pain, when I cried secretly. Nature knows your true self and welcomes you at any time.

Finally managed to visit Shinjuku Gyoen over the weekend Been meaning to go here for a while now and finally had the chance The park itself was quite large, it was a bit surprising how much space it actually takes up in the city. There were a lot of cool stone lanterns and other structures to see throughout the park as well. The Taiwan building was pretty interesting to learn about. Apparently it was donated to Japan in 1924 by Japanese people living in Taiwan. The sign outside mentioned that it was a nice place to feel the breeze and it wasn't a lie either. It felt really nice standing on the balcony overlooking the pond. The breeze came through perfectly. Unfortunately we didn't bring a blanket with us to the park but there were a lot of other people laying down on the grass and it looked like a nice place to have a picnic. We stopped at one of the rest areas and grabbed some drinks as well. I got a lemonade drink that was really refreshing and she got a café latte. We took a quick tour through the greenhouse at the end as well and it had a lot of cool plants inside. I found this flower with grey leaves that I thought was really cool looking. I definitely want to return during autumn to see how the park looks after the leaves change!

I was bathing in the forest in the park, and when I looked up, I saw a family of gathering. I took the photo because I liked the relaxed atmosphere. On the other hand, I realized that I used to think that I was "dense" and that I was feeling like I was in the new coronavirus era.

I asked them to wear a costume because I thought a sunflower, white dress, and straw hat would go well with me. This photo was taken through the yellow door. Shooting at Izumi Recycling Environment Park It was late at the peak of the sunflower, but there were few people and it was easy to shoot. The contrast between a woman taking pictures with her phone while looking at the sunflowers and an elderly man sitting on a bench in the shade of a palm tree was an interesting snap.

Shot at Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa City. It was a day with strong sunlight, but the sunlight was beautiful through the trees.

In Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, the Expo Commemorative Park Japan Garden is a beautiful place for lotus flowers. Depending on the angle, you can take a picture like a picture decorated on a frame, including Taro Okamoto's Tower of the Sun, the Ferris wheel in Expo City, and objects from the park.

I stopped by the Jujo Ginza Shopping Arcade over the obon weekend and managed to take these two photos. The first one was taken at Nanushi no Taki Park (名主の滝公園). It was kind of an interesting place to find in Tokyo. It felt really removed from the rest of the city and its surroundings and had a completely different atmosphere from even just a block away. Once you got inside the park itself it seemed a lot quieter and it was quite cool as well. It's completely surrounded by greenery and the water must help keep the area cool. There's a walking course around the inside of the park but I opted against walking it as there were a fair number of mosquitoes biting at me. The waterfall itself was quite nice though. The next spot was just before the shopping arcade near a railroad crossing. Thought it was interesting so I took a quick photo of it. I believe the first one is GeGeGe no Kitaro, a famous anime, and everyone knows Doraemon

Went down to Takamatsu over the 3 day weekend last week. It was the first time either one of us had been to Shikoku before and it was a lot of fun. I'm surprised it's not talked about more, as there's so much stuff to do. We stayed near Takamatsu pretty much the whole time and we still didn't get to visit every place that we wanted to go. The first day mostly consisted of Ritsurin Park. The park (garden) itself was quite large and there was a lot of beautiful sights to see. We really wanted to go on the boat ride throughout the park's pond, but unfortunately it started to rain just a tiny bit and they closed the boat for the rest of the day, just before we arrived... ☔️ Even still we had a lot of fun walking around the park. There were a lot of koi and turtles swimming in the pond too. We stopped by a small cafe-like building inside the park and i got an ice cream float and she got a coffee. In front of the shop one of the custodians came by with a big bucket of fish food and created a feeding frenzy amongst the koi. I'm pretty sure I saw a single catfish in there as well. After we finished our drinks we climbed to one of the best viewing spots in the park which had a really amazing view of the bridge and the pond. You can see the people on the boat we didn't get to ride too lol? The one building shown in photo 9 was actually a tea house where I think you could try traditional tea ceremony and eat sweets as well, but they also seemed to offer just a normal tea drinking experience as well. We decided not to try it, but if you like tea ceremony it looked quite nice.

Fukuoka Lotus flowers in Hiratsuka Kawazoe Ruins Park.

Had a nice relaxing golden week and to finish it off I saw some carp streamers billowing in the wind at some park along the river near Kita-senju. Had some really nice weather the past couple days too, which was great. Hope everyone had a nice holiday/vacation!

Goshawks in Koganei Park. It is less than 20 minutes from the nearest station of the JR Chuo Line to Shinjuku, and although there are many users, there is a rich nature.

It is a nemophila in the land of Kurihama flowers in Kanagawa Prefecture. The night dew was shining in the morning sun.

It is a place of relaxation for citizens, a park where the atmosphere of satoyama remains. At this time of year, when the Astragalus field is in full bloom, many bees fly around. It is a nostalgic scenery of Japan that I want to keep forever.

When it comes to spring in Japan, I think cherry blossoms are typical. Thanks to the person who planted the cherry blossom trees someday, I was able to take beautiful pictures of cherry blossoms at night in the city of Takasaki.

Neighborhood parks

At the Japan garden of Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park. While pine trees and drooping cherry blossoms are vivid to the eye, a heron is relaxing. It is also said that good luck comes when you meet this bird. I wish you all the best of luck.

Cherry blossoms in Nagai Park, home of the soccer team Cerezo Osaka, Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka City. There are many cherry trees in the large park, and spring is as beautiful as if you were in a dream.

Decided to go back to Gyoda again this weekend. We had such a good time last time we went we decided we wanted to check out the cherry blossoms this spring. Managed to visit some really nice places. We originally wanted to use the rental bicycles that they have in front of the station but we got there past noon and all of them were taken unfortunately. Fortunately for us, it ended up getting a bit colder later on so it actually worked out. We got lucky as there was a really convenient sightseeing bus that rolled through the station to all of the major places in the city every 45 minutes or so. We checked out the cherry blossoms at Gyoda Castle and they had the Hanachozu (花手水, pots of flowers floating in water). We were able to see a few of these throughout the city which was nice. They also had traditional umbrellas on display in a few areas around the castle which was really pretty. After Gyoda Castle we visited the Sakitama Burial Mounds which had some really beautiful views of the cherry blossoms. There was also a flock of herons flying around the area but I wasn't able to get a very good photo of any of them. Luckily we got some great photos of the cherry blossoms and the main mound and had a really enjoyable time. We also stopped by Suijo Park and there were some food stalls in the area, but we got there when everything was just about closed so we only got to see a few of the vendors. We managed to get a really tasty lemonade and a latte though. Both tasted really good. Surprisingly there were a lot of cosplayers at the park. We probably saw like 20-30 people cosplaying using the bridges and cherry blossoms in the area. On the way back to the station we managed saw this river during the bus ride and so we backtracked a little bit after getting to the station (about 5 minutes walking) and got to enjoy some really phenomenal views of the cherry blossoms along the river. There were hardly any people there as well, surprisingly. Overall it was a really awesome time!

Cherry blossoms and Mt. Fuji The cherry blossoms at the foot of Mt. Fuji are about to bloom, so I'm looking forward to it. I took this photo in the park of Chureito in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture.

Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka, along the Imagawa River. It is a beautiful place where beautiful flowers bloom throughout the four seasons. In addition, Japanese items such as Shigaraki tanuki figurines and tiles are placed, making it a picturesque photo spot. In spring, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and there are also weeping cherry blossoms and white cherry blossoms, so you can fully feel the four seasons of Japan while strolling. It's also nice to be able to enjoy it for free.

This red spider liliies was taken at the "Sakai Ontake Mountain Natural Forest Park" in Gunma Prefecture. I walked around the park and took pictures of red spider liliies that I had always wanted to photograph from various places lol. This is one of the best shots I've taken!

Awaji Island It is an early-blooming rape flower. It was a warm sunny day and it felt good.
