🗻 See 🗻 Diamond Fuji from the rooftop of City Hall The rooftop of the Kamagaya City Office is relatively tall in the city and has a good view, so you can see the Tokyo Skytree along with Mt. Mount Fuji. About twice a year, at the moment when the sun rises from the summit of the Mount Fuji and the moment when the sun sets, you can see a scene as if a diamond is shining, and this phenomenon is called "Diamond Fuji". The spectacle of Mt. Mount Fuji and the sun is truly the art of Nature. Why don't you see the wonderful sight of Mount Fuji and the sunset only at this time of year? ✨ <Best view time> Saturday, November 8 2025 (Reiwa 7) around 4:29 p.m. Although it is a closed day, we will open the rooftop because it has been well received! Opening hours: 3:30 pm to 5:15 pm *Cancelled in case of rain <Request for Appreciation> There will be no Appreciation party, so no application is required. Autumn Nature Walk in Miyanomori Miyanomori surrounds Forest Park. I heard we could stroll through Miyanomori, and about 20 people, from children to adults, gathered. You can walk from the foot to the summit and back in just over an hour on Miyanomori. Fallen leaves covered the ground, and with every step I heard the rustle of leaves. At first everyone walked at the same pace, but the energetic children pressed on, moving steadily ahead. As we walked, people stopped when something caught their eye, staring at it or reaching out to touch it. In the clear air, we fully savored the autumn forest. #Nishiokoppe Village #Hokkaido #Miyanomori #Walk #Autumn #Mushrooms

Gathered Around the Campfire It was around the time when overnight lows started hovering near 0°C. Children gathered at the BBQ house behind Hotel Morumu, forming a circle around the campfire. They tried lighting the fire, cutting wood, and grilling food. With temperatures too cool for short sleeves, the area around the fire felt warm and cozy. With help from adults and older students, each child had the chance to try whatever they wanted at their own pace. Sweet potatoes, potatoes, pumpkin, bread, sausages, marshmallows, and more were roasted. Many items turned out well with little charring! Soon the season for campfires and outdoor grilling will come to an end. The garden beside the BBQ house was steadily preparing for winter. I can’t help but feel a little excited already, wondering what winter delights await. #Nishiokoppe Village #Hokkaido #campfire #roasted sweet potato #hands-on experience #mokuiiku (wood learning) #autumn

[2025 Rokkakudo Kiriko Festival] Scene of the "Rokkakudo Kiriko Festival" on 10/13 (Monday). You can see the historical Kiriko exhibition up close. The works created over time are detailed and delicate... I am overwhelmed by the beauty that I can't believe is human work! At dusk, when the lights are lit in the Rokkakudo Hall and I see the local people praying, I hope that this scene will continue to be passed down in the future, along with the miracle that has continued for more than 300 years.

Sunset Village Festa 2025 in Gokase On Sunday, October 12, the 27th Sunset Village Festa 2025 in Gokase took place under clear skies at Gokase Winery Event Square. 🌞 An opening drum performance instantly raised the festival mood, and the Dange-nana Dance by Kamikumi Elementary School and the Dan-shichi Odori Preservation Group united the crowd. ✨ Dance and hula routines had many people spontaneously joining in. ✨ Kainina’s song choices hit the perfect notes, and they got so into the music they paid little attention to the cameras. 🎶 At the Aju Girls’ stage, fans crowded the front to take photos. 📷 Momashi Five brought their signature presence, involving the whole audience and putting smiles on everyone’s faces. 😆 In the on-site fields visitors enjoyed a sweet potato digging experience; many left with sacks full of piping-hot sweet potatoes. 🍠 The main guests, the Toshiki Abe Life Memory Project, played melodies that perfectly matched the venue’s evening atmosphere as dusk approached. 😍 The finale featured kagura ritual music from Kotono Shrine. 👹 A roaming lion dance through the venue drew screams and laughter from different corners. 😅 Many people also joined the final mochi-throwing. 😊 We were treated to the beautiful sunset that inspired the name Sunset Village, making it another delightful day this year. ✨
