54th Shimoda Onsen Hydrangea Festival Bloom Report [Overall about 50% in bloom] The hydrangeas at Shimoda Park are about 50% in bloom overall! From the entrance to Kaikoku Plaza they are at their best 💠✨ All around the park, colorful flowers have begun to open, creating a soothing scene even for a simple walk. Blue, purple, pink, white… the variety of hydrangeas you can see is one of Shimoda Park’s charms 🎨! Hydrangea color famously changes with soil conditions, and at Shimoda Park the fertilizer applied varies each year and the grounds are sloped, so runoff causes a mix of hues you can enjoy 👀💙💜 Explaining those mysteries and the different hydrangea types is the Shimoda Hydrangea Guidebook. Try using it while strolling through the park’s hydrangea paths!👇 https://www.shimoda-ajisai.info// Near the colony area, the Hydrangea Terrace Café is open ☕🌿 (Open every day during the Hydrangea Festival; may close due to weather, 9:00–16:00) Their limited-quantity plum squash (600 yen) is said to be popular ✨ However, it was so popular the plums ran out, so this time they offered the seasonal New Summer Orange ade instead! It was refreshing with a hint of sweetness and very tasty 🍊 The plums should be ready in a little while! They also offer many drinks perfect for a break while admiring the hydrangeas. Kaikoku Plaza also has food, drink, and shopping areas 👍 Some buds remain, but in sunny spots the hydrangeas are gently opening in a rainbow of colors, making this a great time for photos 📷 Colors will deepen from now on, and peak is expected from mid to late June. We will update bloom information as it changes, so please check before you visit 🌤

[Outdoor Screening and Starry Night] Saturday, May 24 It was a night of watching movies and stars in the forest park. That said, Unfortunately, the sky was cloudy that day. And a bit of a cold day. It was a pity that I couldn't look up at the starry sky. He came from the Nayoro Municipal Astronomical Observatory "Kitasubaru" The story by the staff is interesting. The observatory car that we brought with us was also opened for about 30 minutes. From the Earth to the Sun I wonder how Squid would be if I went by plane... He talked about the universe in a very easy-to-understand manner. Adult and children alike are curious. In advertising this Events In fact, it was a bit of a discovery that there were more people who were interested in stars ~ than I expected. Create another opportunity I would like to call the observatory Car "Polaris II". (Nayoro Municipal Astronomical Observatory HP ↓) https://www.nayoro-star.jp/kitasubaru/... For the screening, The Japanese dubbed version of the French Animated film "Linda wa Chicken ga Tabeta!" will be screened. Coconut dumplings, pudding, popcorn Bean tea, roasted green tea chai Stalls were opened by Village residents. There was a menu that you don't see often, and thanks to you, it was a great success. This is the first outdoor screening in Nishiokoppe Village. Implementation despite some uncertainties such as the weather. In conjunction with this project I had the fluffy dome inflated until 9 o'clock at night. Jumping at night is different from daytime, and the children were jumping all the time. June is almost here! In Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, blessed with great nature, you can see fireflies. At Hotaru-mi Park in Kuchiwa Town, Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, many visitors gather every year. The fireflies fly from around 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a peak 30-minute period from about 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. About 300 meters downstream from Hotaru-mi Park there is a spot where Genji fireflies appear. This year’s best viewing time is expected to be later than usual because cherry blossoms bloomed late. Hotaru-mi Park has a campsite, and around July you can see Hime fireflies. Hime fireflies glow more quietly than Genji fireflies, and people who have gone camping at Hotaru-mi Park report the rare experience of seeing many fireflies gather in front of their tents. Hotaru-mi Park has few lights, making it an excellent place for firefly watching. At the “Firefly Viewing Gathering” held on Saturday, June 21, all lights in the management building and campsite will be turned off for one minute starting at 9:00 p.m., so you can enjoy only the fireflies’ glow. You just have to go…! Food trucks and stalls are also planned for the day. [I played with Kendama Ken-chan] From the Atsuma Kendama Club Kendama Ken-chan Retsu Saito came! How to enjoy kendama It's not just about putting a ball on a plate or sticking a ball in it. A unicorn that balances by placing a kendama on an odeco. Stack kendama that is played by stacking multiple kendama. Of course, it's not just about playing alone. Don't drop your own balls on the plate A play of dropping other people's balls. The two of them face each other, and the ball is tight. A game of fortune telling based on whether or not you collide. There are many ways to play. There were many types of kendama! Those with a large number of balls, those with square balls, From large to small. Just a ball on a plate They make smug faces and smile happily It was also a time to see the innocent side of adults. Kendama Ken-chan Thank you very much for making everyone laugh many from little ones to grandma with Kendama!! Please come again! 😆 #Nishiokoppe Village #Hokkaido #Kendama #Atsuma Town #Kendama Club #Social Education Lecture #Council of Social Welfare #Village Self-Reliance Support Center

JTB "Tabimonogatari-go" has been a stop for three consecutive years since R5 This year, we had 🚃 the pleasure of entertaining for about 34 minutes on the platform of the station Approximately 60 customers, Shintoku Soba tea, 2 types of Soba hot water (rich Soba bath, Soba bath with dashi), Taste Soba Karinto, A limited assortment set was sold. After that, each of the participants took pictures in front of the photo frame on the platform and in front of the station, and enjoyed shopping at the shop on the premises. After leaving Shintoku Station, more than 10 groups were taking pictures at the "Soba Red Photo Frame" installed on the left hand side. And at the shop on the premises, the "Soba Karinto" that I tasted was well received and sold out. Even when we talk to customers who are returning to the platform "Because it was so delicious." "It goes well with Tea." I was able to hear a happy voice with Soba Karinto in my hand. We saw them off in the hope that they would stop by again next year. A little advertisement. The "Soba Red Photo Frame" installed in front of the station is not a face-fitting panel, but it can be photographed as if you were eating Soba noodles. If you are interested, please come to 💡 Shintoku Station The JTB special train "Tabimonogatari" has arrived! The JTB "Tabimonogatari" has been stopping by for three consecutive years since 2013. This year, we once again entertained customers on the station platform for about 34 minutes. 🚃 About 60 customers were served Shintoku soba tea, two types of soba soup (thick soba soup, soba soup with dashi), and soba kunto, and we sold them a limited assortment set. After that, each customer took photos in front of the photo frame on the platform or in front of the station, and enjoyed shopping at the shop on the premises. More than 10 groups of people took photos at the "Soba Red Photo Frame" installed on the left hand side just after leaving Shintoku Station. And at the shop on the premises, the "Sobakurentou" that was offered for tasting was so popular that it sold out. When we spoke to customers returning to the platform, we were able to hear happy voices with soba kunto in hand, saying, "It was very delicious" and "It goes well with tea." We sent them off in the hope that they will stop by again next year.
