Shot at the Nakayama Sunflower Housing Complex in Mannou Town, Nakatado District, Kagawa Prefecture. The sunflowers spreading all over the area were superb.

Man this place is really amazing. I've seen lots of photos about Nabana no Sato but I haven't seen any that looked like this. I know there are some really pretty cherry blossoms here in the spring too and they even have weeping cherry blossoms as well. I'd love to visit when they're in bloom, but there's also supposed to be some really amazing scenery in the fall when the leaves change color. It's really awesome they have Anpanman in the field too lol. Some of the other characters I'm not sure about but I know I've seen them before. I know about Shokupanman though since I personally love bread lol. I'm used to seeing the illuminations of this place so this is really cool getting to see a side of it I hadn't seen before.

It is a place of relaxation for citizens who retain the atmosphere of satoyama. In the genge astragalus field, bees put pollen dumplings and collected nectar. I use a fisheye lens to capture the scenery from the perspective of a bee.

Hey, I know this place! I have a friend that used to work at Huis Ten Bosch. I've never gotten the chance to go myself but it seems like it would be a really cool place to visit. I can imagine in the spring the flowers are really awesome like this photo as well so now is probably the best time to check it out. I know the do illumination events and other stuff as well so that'd probably be a good idea for dates or even just for some casual fun with friends. I think they have boat rides as well. To be fair there's probably not much they don't have I guess the park is supposed to be pretty large. Nagasaki is a little far from Tokyo for a day trip but maybe this summer I can get something worked out. Would really love to visit.
