Negishi Forest Park... Looks like a nice place for a picnic! I got out this weekend and saw the cherry blossoms (had a blast) but sadly didn't get to do the whole picnic plan like I wanted. Still ended up eating lunch at a nice cafe near where we went but maybe next weekend I'll succeed with my picnic plan lol! I want to make a bunch of food the day before and get a blanket and just sit back and relax, drink some plum wine and enjoy the spring breeze and cherry blossoms (peach blossoms in this case I suppose). This place is only about an hour and a half from the northern Tokyo area so it's actually pretty reasonable for a day trip. Guess we'll see what happens!

We went to Negishi Forest Park in full bloom to see the cherry blossoms. The whole park was pink and beautiful.

It is Sagamihara Park in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture! A park where various flowers bloom in spring, summer, autumn and winter. You can see a large plaza where children can play, a fountain space where you can take a break, and warm plants that you can't usually see. It is a wonderful park that can be enjoyed by everyone, young and old, so please stretch your legs. ?parking lot On weekdays, if it is within 2 hours, it is 100 yen, On weekends and holidays, you can park for 310 yen, so you can use it very reasonably.

Wow, what a great photo! Capturing the torii, the Victory? (I don't think it's the Queen Ashinoko at least), and Mt. Fuji all in one shot. I'd love to see this same shot in autumn when the leaves change, I think it'd be really beautiful. I want to go for a cruise on the Ashinoko as well if possible, I think it'd be a really cool idea for a date so I need to look into that lol. Plus I still haven't gotten to see Hakone much so it'd make a great destination to visit next. I guess next time I head south a bit otherwise it's a bit of a long train ride. Either way, I'm looking forward to when the opportunity arises!
