I think one of the pleasures of sightseeing in Hokkaido and Sapporo is to enjoy Hokkaido gourmet.
Speaking of popular gourmet foods in Hokkaido, there are many seafood dishes such as crab, salmon roe, sea urchin, ramen, soup curry, zangi, and Genghis Khan, and you may have decided where and what to eat when you plan your trip.
New Otani Inn Sapporo is also close to JR Sapporo Station, so there are many restaurants nearby.

New Otani Inn Sapporo's restaurant welcomes you with the best hospitality that rivals many restaurants in Sapporo City.
New Otani Inn Sapporo has a Japanese, Western and Chinese restaurant "Party & Dining Four Seasons" and a dining & café "Rendezvous Lounge".
The interior of "Party & Dining Four Seasons" is made of bricks and you can enjoy a relaxing meal.
We have 4 private rooms of "Acacia", "Hamanasu", "Kaede" and "Hagi", so you can eat in a private space.
The à la carte menu includes beef sirloin steak, salmon rice bowl made with Hokkaido's proud seafood, and premium hamburger curry.
"Rendezvous Lounge" also offers breakfast buffet menu and lunch menu.

There is also a plan to dine at these restaurants when you stay.
This restaurant can be used by non-guests, so please enjoy Hokkaido gourmet food at New Otani Inn Sapporo.

New Otani Inn Sapporo also offers takeout and delivery where you can enjoy your time at home.
The "Spring Party Box" currently on sale allows you to enjoy hotel gourmet food at home.

Turn your home into a high-class café?
The "Afternoon Tea Sweets Box" is an assortment of strawberries and cherry scented sweets cakes, so it is also recommended as a gift.

[Englsih] Cafe Kojika is a 10-minute walk from Hachioji Station. The interior of Cafe Kojika is decorated in the 1970s, so you can enjoy your meal in an old Japanese house. The prices are all one coin and even better, they were very tasty 😊My top recommendation is the cream soda. You can have your favorite color juice made. There are many international students who would like to do a homestay. However, due to the corona, they don't have a chance to do a homestay, so I recommend this kind of old house café to such students. Cafe Oga is a 10-minute walk from Hachioji Station. The interior of Cafe Oga has a 1970s interior, so you can enjoy your meal in an old Japanese house. Many of the prices were one coin, and it was also very delicious. 😊 You can make juice of your favorite color. There are many international students who want to do a homestay. However, due to Corona, there is no opportunity to do a homestay, so we recommend such a kominka café for such students.

Visited Shibamata for the first time over the weekend. I'd been meaning to go for a while because it seemed like an interesting place to visit in Tokyo, but I just hadn't had the chance until now. It was a really nice place and I was surprised at how few people were there. There was a ton of shops lined up along the main street and the wooden buildings gave it a really nice atmosphere. I haven't seen Otoko wa Tsurai yo, but there were statues and posters of Tora-san everywhere, even inside shops and stuff. I guess I'll have to watch it some time when I have the chance. We ended up eating lunch at one of the restaurants along the main road and they had some Tora Miso Ramen so we decided to try it. It was pretty good and had a decent amount of vegetables in it as well, so moderately healthy for ramen I suppose. We also got some dessert at a cafe afterwards and she got some dango while I ordered an ice cream float. We also went to the nearby temple Shibamata Taishakuten 柴又帝釈天, or Daikyoji Temple and walked around the main temple grounds and also bought tickets to see the garden and the architecture inside the temple. The garden was really pretty and the walkway around it was quite nice to walk on. I really enjoyed viewing the inside of the temple as there was a ton of hand-carved panels depicting different scenes. There were descriptions below each of the panels that described them as well, and they were interesting to read. It seemed like they were all carved by different people but they were all highly skilled. When we were leaving we found a nice little shows style candy shop and we bought some snacks and played a round of pinball on one of the pinball machines inside the shop. Haven’t played pinball since I was a kid, was pretty nostalgic. If you're in Tokyo I definitely recommend giving this place a visit on the weekend.

[English/Japanese] A temple called "Shinshoin" in Nishi-Hachioji has a café attached to it. Visitors can spend tea time in a quiet atmosphere. The school introduces students who are interested in matcha to places in Hachioji where they can drink it. A temple called "Shinshoin" in Nishi Hachioji has a café. Was walking through Shimokitazawa the other day and found some really cool street art on the shutter of some shop or something not really sure what the building was. Just thought it was cool to see this. Don't see much street art in Japan, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as usually it involves vandalism, but this doesn't look to be vandalism, although I could be wrong. Either way I think it's a nice improvement to the empty shutters and definitely adds a little spice to the area. Aesthetically I'm a huge fan since I enjoy learning about Japanese history, especially samurai, swords, etc., even if this is a fantastical rendition of the likes you'd find in some anime or manga. Shimokitazawa is a pretty cool place though. It seems like a lot of younger people go shopping in the area and there's a lot of restaurants as well. If you're into coffee, cafes, and unique shops with trinkets, etc. it's an enjoyable place to visit. Really trendy

Went to やなか珈琲 and bought some coffee beans this weekend. I did not know why the beans were green, but it seems it’s because they have not been roasted yet and they roast them after they are ordered. I came back to the shop in 20 minutes and they had turned brown from being roasted and smelled really good. I tried ブルボン from Brazil and they taste really good! They have many kinds of beans so I wanna try different kinds next time and also sit down for a cup of coffee in the shop itself☕️

Dropped by a cafe near Oji Station the other day and ordered a small chocolate cake and a tea. It looks strikingly similar to the one I had at the pasta restaurant a few days ago, with very minor differences lol. I didn't take a photo of the tea unfortunately, I was too focused on eating the cake😅. I suppose it's a popular dessert combination as it seems quite easy but delicious at the same time. The cafe is called Dining Cafe Tagen ダイニング カフェTAGEN. When I passed it on Halloween they were opening the large doors at the front of the shop and preparing some sort of Halloween event, although I wasn't able to see exactly what was going on with it. They had a big speaker as well, so maybe they were going to sing and give candy away lol. I'm not really sure though. I think they were wearing costumes as well, it looked pretty interesting. It's a nice place though. It can be a bit cramped at times but otherwise it's a nice place to go for a coffee and dessert if you're in the area. You can also take the streetcar Tokyo Sakura Tram to get there as well which is a plus!

That is one beautiful looking chandelier. I can imagine it cost quite a bit of money. Incidentally I'd never seen the kanji for Yebisu before, nor had I heard of Yebisu Garden Place. Looks like a really awesome place to go for dinner or lunch as it has some nice restaurants and cafes both high-class and reasonably priced which is nice. Probably be nice to go for a date actually. Do some shopping and then stop by for dinner or even just go for lunch and then walk around the area and see everything there is. I guess there's an art museum and a theatre as well, so yeah this place is like a 10/10 for going on dates probably lol. I'd like to check out the beer museum personally sounds pretty interesting and you can get samples too if you pay a small fee it looks like

Wow, that's awesome. I never would have expected that Loui Vuitton would open a café. Surprised I didn't hear about this sooner tbh. Not surprising that they opened in Japan though. Japan has the best cafe's I've ever been to, bar none, so I can imagine that the food is just out of this world as well. It's interesting they went for a French dining restaurant/café instead of just a restaurant, but maybe they decided to go with a café because of Japan's awesome café culture. I'd love to check this place out, but it might be a liiittle bit above my budget so that'll probably have to wait unfortunately😅 It looks like those are truffles in the picture too so I don't even want to know how much that box itself is worth😂
