Takao, and there are many restaurants where you can enjoy tororo cuisine. I ate grated yam on the way home from a recent excursion. Tororo has a soothing effect on a tired body. If you are tired after climbing a mountain, you should definitely try it. Takaoyamaguchi Station, the gateway to Takao Mountain hiking, is lined with numerous eateries. Around Mt. Takao, people have eaten tororo (grated yam) for generations, and many restaurants serve tororo dishes. On my way home from a recent outing, I had tororo. It helps soothe a tired body. If you feel exhausted after a hike, be sure to give it a try.

From the summit of Mt. Takao in Hachioji City, you can see "Diamond Fuji" as the sun sinks into the crater of Mt. Fuji, which has been registered as a World Heritage Site, on December 17 Sat ~ 25 Sun, 2022 around the winter solstice in December every year. It is a precious and mysterious sight that can only be seen for a few days in one year, even for a few minutes. You can see Diamond Fuji depending on the weather, so please check the weather forecast before visiting. Mt. Takao can be reached in one hour from central Tokyo, and there are cable cars and lifts to the mountainside, so you can easily visit it. It is very cold in winter now, so please wear warm clothes.

Tengu-yaki (天狗焼き), a souvenir I bought on a field trip to Mt. Takao. It is shaped like a tengu, a yokai (a supernatural creature) said to live on Mt. Takao. I expected it to be filled with anko (sweet red bean paste), but it turned out to be mashed kuromame (black soybeans) — its subtle sweetness was delightful. Our school is at Nishi-Hachioji Station, near Takao Station. Nishi-Hachioji is on the Chuo Line, which connects to Tokyo and Shinjuku; it lies between Hachioji, convenient for shopping, and Mt. Takao, rich in nature. It was ranked first in the recently announced "Most Livable Cities" ranking. With many supermarkets and hospitals and low rent, it comes highly recommended 😊.

The autumn leaves were still at their peak, and the view from the lift was excellent. You can also enjoy the scenery along the path to the summit, including finding a rare cedar tree. It was a clear day, so Mt. Fuji was easy to see. I recommend visiting on weekdays when there are fewer people. Hachioji is known for Mt. Takao. Mt. Takao can be seen from the school. I took a star bath in the Mt. Tokachi.

This is a superb view from the Mt. Rokko observation tower in Kobe. After climbing a steep hill on a road bike, I was very happy because it was a light awn that suddenly appeared from the morning sun! !! I was able to see the heavenly world and the earthly world at once, and it was as if I was 😊 drawn into the world of myths such as the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki.

When I was walking home from the mountain, I happened to look up at the sky and saw that it was dyed such a good color that I stopped the car and clicked the shutter without thinking. In the mountains, I didn't see very good scenery, and while I was on the way home with the feeling that there would be days like this, I thought that there were such encounters. As a result, I think it was good just to see this scenery.

The sunrise of Lake Mashu is relatively major as a tourist destination in Hokkaido. The clouds and the surface of the lake were burned nicely. On this day, we climbed Mt. Mashu. We got off to a good start.

The sunset I saw at Mt. Shimoakaiwa in Otaru City, Hokkaido, after a light hike. The amount of clouds and the weather burned the sky as I imagined.

We stayed in a tent for two days and one night in the Tokachi mountain range. The scenery seen when I was walking along the ridgeline from Biei Fuji to Mt. Optatesike. A sea of clouds, rainbows, and vast land. It was a good time to walk in the mountains of Hokkaido.

This is a scene I encountered when I traveled in the spring of 2021. While driving near the border between Akita and Yamagata prefectures on National Route 13, there were good low clouds hanging over the mountain, and I was wondering if there was a mountain that I could climb nearby, but there was a mountain called Yakushiyama on the side of the road. I hurriedly climbed up and reached the top of the mountain in about 20 minutes and I was able to see this scene. The small island floating in the sea of clouds and the fresh green were the best match. I am grateful to nature for showing me.

This summer. My first time in Oze. I was fascinated by the fantastic scenery after the rain and mixed in with the fairytale world.

Hakubayari Onsen Hut Open-air bath From Tsugaike, we stayed in tents at Mt. Norikura and Oike Sanso, climbed Mt. Hakuba, and stayed in tents at Yari Onsen Hut. It was cloudy during the climb, but when I was in the hot spring, it was sunny and the view was superb. It relieved my fatigue all at once. I think the unpredictable achievements are the charm of traveling.

It is a waterfall located in the Kannabe Valley in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture. It is said to have a drop of 22 meters. The light came through the gaps in the trees and looked mysterious.

It is Kamikochi in Nagano Prefecture in summer. The Azusa River is so transparent that you can see the bottom of the river. Mountains with lush greenery. It was a beautiful scene like a picture.

I crossed to Rishiri Island by ferry on the evening of the 18th, walked to the mountain, and waited for the morning at the summit while looking at the starry sky all night. I don't have a tent, so I just sit on the rock and watch the Milky Way and wait. For me as a Kagoshima person, Hokkaido itself feels like the farthest end, but climbing the northernmost mountain seems to be a dream from beginning to end. The morning in Hokkaido in summer was early, and it started to get bright before 3 o'clock, so it was surprisingly quick. After this, after shooting the morning scenery, we descended the mountain and took the ferry at 12 o'clock to Wakkanai. It was a truly memorable mountain trip, as if burning the fire of life.

SKY TERRACE/Nagano This is the view from the sky terrace installed at the top of Kurumayama Mountain. Minamiyatsugatake was clearly visible. Mt. Fuji is hidden by clouds.

I was bathing in the forest in the park, and when I looked up, I saw a family of gathering. I took the photo because I liked the relaxed atmosphere. On the other hand, I realized that I used to think that I was "dense" and that I was feeling like I was in the new coronavirus era.
