In the purple tunnel, you forget the time. Tennogawa Park in Tsushima City, Aichi Prefecture, is cherished locally as a famous spot for wisteria, yet it remains a hidden gem with modest national recognition. From late April to early May each year, the massive wisteria trellises that cover the area are nothing short of breathtaking. Clusters of pink, purple, and white flowers hang down like waterfalls, creating a fantastical space that feels like stepping into another world. The nighttime illumination reveals a different, ethereal, and glamorous expression compared to the daytime. The free admission is also a delightful point, and it's conveniently accessible, taking about 40 minutes by train from Nagoya. 1 Miyagawa-cho, Tsushima City, Aichi Prefecture.

Would you like to enjoy a walk where you can experience Saijō’s unique spring water culture, known as "Uchinuki," during a peaceful season? We recommend a 2.4 km walking course along the Aquatopia water system (a waterside-friendly area), stretching from Kanon Water to the Saijō Domain Jinya Ruins. From mid-April to early May, you can enjoy beautiful seasonal scenery: wisteria blossoms at Teishō-ji Temple (Kannon Hall) near the starting point, and vibrant azaleas in the moat-side area at the endpoint, creating a beautiful harmony of flowing water and seasonal flowers. Along the way, you will find many attractive stops, including Uchinuki spring water tasting spots, cafés, sweet shops, and local farmers’ markets—perfect for a relaxing and leisurely experience. In the historic moat-side area around the Ōtemon Gate from the Edo period, a beautiful streetscape unfolds where waterside scenery blends with outstanding examples of modernist architecture, such as the local museum, folk craft museum, and a church. This unique landscape showcases the harmony of history, architecture, and pure spring water—an essential part of Saijō’s charm. At the Saijō Tourist Information Center (open year-round, 9:00–18:00), visitors can obtain a Water Walking Map and information about bicycle rentals. It is recommended as a starting point for your exploration. But the reflection was 🤤 awesome

The morning sun shines on the wisteria curtain This is located in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture "Ashikaga Flower Park" Around May every year, one of the largest wisteria shelves in Japan is in full bloom. It is so popular that it is organized not only in Japan but also on overseas tours. If you look up at the wisteria shelf from above, it is even more beautiful illuminated by the morning sun. During the beautiful wisteria season, I decided to go to a certain flower park. I triumphantly straddled the motorcycle, but there was no sign of it arriving farther than I expected. At that time, as I proceeded to be drawn by the words "Great Wisteria in Tamaki Park" that appeared on the sign, a magnificent wisteria tree appeared, which was as good as the famous wisteria. I bought coffee and fried bread nearby, ate it while watching, immersed myself in the calm atmosphere of the surroundings, which is not found in large facilities, and went home satisfied that day.
