【Lecture】Exploring the Stars of Teshikaga through Science! As autumn arrives, bringing longer nights and clearer skies, it's the perfect season to enjoy the beautiful starry skies of Teshikaga. The way we perceive the night sky varies depending on our location and time. Why can we see such beautiful stars in Teshikaga? In this lecture, we will invite Mayuki Sano, who studies the brightness of the night sky, to delve into the charm of Teshikaga's starry skies from a scientific perspective. How do we measure the brightness of the stars, and what can we learn from the data? Through the study of the stars, we will learn the importance of observing changes in our natural environment. By looking at the familiar night sky through the lens of science, why not rediscover the natural beauty of Teshikaga? Whether you love the stars or have an interest in science, the natural environment, or a career in research, we warmly invite you to join us. The closure will take place at the area being developed as Tachibana Terrace (tentative name) and Machinaka Hiroba, with plans to consider making it a pedestrian-only path in the future for enhanced attractiveness.
