Meeting the sea, a special day spent at the Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival in Shonan, Japan 🎐 About an hour by train from Tokyo. In Hiratsuka, located in Kanagawa Prefecture's Shonan area, the entire town is adorned with vibrant Tanabata decorations every summer. The "Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival." Known as one of Japan's three major Tanabata festivals, it is a summer tradition. Giant Tanabata decorations fill the streets. People in yukata. The summer town transitioning from dusk to night. A nostalgic atmosphere flows, reminiscent of a scene from a movie. However, Hiratsuka's charm isn't just about the festival. Close by, there is a beautiful sea. A crystal-clear blue ocean that feels far removed from the Tokyo suburbs. Colorful fish. Soft corals gently swaying. In the morning, dive into the world of the sea. And from the evening, immerse yourself in a Japanese summer festival. This is the allure of the Shonan area, where you can spend such a special day. Diving is not just about entering the water. It’s about feeling the local atmosphere, walking through the town, meeting people, and experiencing the seasons of Japan. The time that follows the sea becomes an important memory of the journey. This year's "Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival" is scheduled to be held from July 3rd to 5th. Discover another side of Japan that you won't find just by sightseeing in Tokyo. Feel the Japanese summer that spreads beyond the sea. 🌈Hokule'a Shonan offers small-group diving tours in the ocean near Tokyo. Beginners and solo participants are welcome. English support is also available. We hope you enjoy not just the sea, but a special day spent in Japan. 【Related Keywords】 Diving near Tokyo / Kanagawa Diving / Shonan Diving / Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival / Tokyo Day Trip / Hidden Japan / Dive Near Tokyo / Japan Summer Festival / Japanese Ocean Experience / Tokyo Day Trip Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival Photo provided by the Hiratsuka City Tourism Association.

Hirasawa, Shizuoka Prefecture. This is a quiet sea in Japan that can be visited as a day trip from Tokyo. From late spring to early summer, a special scenery appears in this sea. A forest of seaweed extending to the water's surface. A gently swaying green world. Soft light filtering through. It feels as if a forest is spreading underwater. As you quietly swim between the seaweeds, small blue fish appear. In the shadows of the rocks, small lives grow in the spring sea. These seaweed areas are called "moba" in Japan. They are important places where many fish and marine creatures live. From spring to early summer, it is also the spawning season for the bigfin reef squid. The changing scenery of the sea with each season is one of the charms of Japan's waters. The sea of Hirasawa is a bit different from the tropical seas of Okinawa. It lacks flamboyance. However, it possesses a quiet beauty. Light filtering through the seaweed. A time when only the sound of waves can be heard. The slowly flowing underwater scenery. You can feel the gentle air typical of Japan's nature. At Hokule'a Shonan, we offer guidance centered around the sea of Kanagawa and Izu, which can be enjoyed as a day trip from the Tokyo area. With a small group, even beginners can feel at ease. English support is also available. Experience the time of Japan's sea that cannot be encountered just by visiting tourist spots. It is recommended for those looking for "an experience in Japan that is more than just diving." A short train ride from Tokyo leads you to a peaceful seaside experience. This time, I visited Zushi in Kanagawa Prefecture. It's a popular beach for day trips near Tokyo. The previous day was closed due to strong winds. Excited to see how the sea has changed, I headed to Zushi in the morning. Upon entry, a clear blue underwater world awaited. Countless damselfish. Sardines and mackerel swimming while reflecting the light. Schools of fish filled the water. The scenery was unlike anything you'd expect near Tokyo. But the charm of Zushi's sea doesn't stop there. Looking down a bit reveals a small world beginning. A goby hiding in the rocks. Colorful sea slugs. As I searched slowly, new discoveries came one after another. What impressed me most was the moment I saw a Sagami ryugu sea slug riding on a scorpion fish. Just a few seconds of a small event. Yet, such serendipitous scenes remain as memories of the sea. Time spent observing the schools of fish. Time spent looking for small creatures. In the same sea, you can enjoy completely different experiences. That's the allure of Zushi's sea. After diving, I had lunch at a local diner. The calm air after returning from the sea is one of the joys of traveling in Japan. A glimpse of another side of Japan that you won't encounter just by sightseeing in Tokyo. A tranquil world by the sea, right near the city. Hokule'a Shonan offers small-group diving tours near Tokyo. Beginners and solo participants are welcome. Why not experience a "day by the sea" during your trip to Japan? 【Related Keywords】 Tokyo Diving / Diving Near Tokyo / Kanagawa Diving / Zushi Diving / Dive Near Tokyo / Japan Diving / Hidden Japan / Japanese Ocean Experience / Tokyo Day Trip

Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Hirasawa, located along the coast of Nishi-Izu. A few hours from Tokyo. Here, time flows completely differently from the city. In the morning, the road leads to the sea. A blue sky. The calm Suruga Bay. The summer air. This day was for OW, AOW, and Assistant Instructor courses. Some are nervous about their first time in the sea. Others are moving on to the next step. Some are learning to support others. Each enters the same sea with different purposes. Underwater, it is quiet. Swaying seaweed. Light slowly filtering through. A world where only the sound of bubbles can be heard. The sea at Hirasawa has a beauty that is a bit different from flashiness. Clear water. Gentle currents. Time spent slowly regulating one's breath. Even for those diving for the first time, it's a place where you can gradually get used to the sea. At Hokulea Shonan, tours and courses are conducted in small groups. Enjoying the sea at your own pace, without rushing. That is the style that is cherished in this place. After diving. Everyone stopped by Mentai Park. Local food after seeing the sea. Time to choose souvenirs. Scenery along the coast while driving. Such moments are also part of the journey in Japan. Japan is not just about visiting famous tourist spots. The road to the sea. Local towns. Small diving shops. Scenery that can only be seen that day. Nishi-Izu has such quiet charm. For those wanting to spend a slightly special day near Tokyo. Time spent in the sea of Japan will surely remain in your travel memories. #Hirasawa #Izu Trip #Day Trip #Near Tokyo #PADI

A special season unique to spring has begun at Enoura in Kanagawa Prefecture. About an hour from Tokyo. During this time, you can witness the "spawning of the Japanese common squid" in the waters of Japan. Usually drifting quietly in the sea, the squids begin to gather in shallow waters for spawning as spring arrives. Underwater, a unique tension and a quiet presence of life spread throughout. Divers can observe the squids heading to their spawning grounds and the eggs laid on branches up close. Spawning has just begun. Over the next few weeks, small lives will develop within the eggs. In a few weeks, you will also be able to see tiny baby squids swimming inside the eggs. Watching underwater feels like peeking into a small story within the sea. Moreover, this scenery can only be seen during the short period of spring. It's not at an aquarium, not in a video, but a seasonal landscape you can experience in the actual waters of Japan. On this day, we encountered clownfish, sea slugs, and even "underwater Doraemon." It's another side of Japan that you won't find just by visiting Tokyo or Kyoto. A day spent at the sea, a little away from the city, will surely become a special travel memory. Enoura is a diving area that can be visited as a day trip from Tokyo. Hokule'a Shonan offers small-group diving tours suitable for beginners. They also provide English support, making it popular among travelers from abroad and foreign residents in Japan. Come to the spring-only waters of Japan. Why not go see the quiet drama of life? 📍 Enoura (Kanagawa Prefecture) 🚃 Day trip possible from Tokyo 🤿 Small group tours with English support #Near Tokyo #Day trip #Extraordinary experience #Japanese common squid #Squid spawning

Create special memories with your family near Tokyo 🤿☀️ This time, we visited Usami in Higashi-Izu. It's a seaside area in Japan that you can access from Tokyo in a day. In the morning, we departed the city, heading towards Izu while enjoying the coastal scenery. The landscape gradually changes. Time flows slowly. Just that alone allows you to feel a different side of Japan compared to Tokyo. On this day, we participated in a PADI Open Water Diver course as a family. At first, they seemed a bit nervous, but once they entered the water, smiles began to appear. Seeing the same ocean, watching the same fish, and being moved by the same scenery. Diving offers such special moments. The waters of Higashi-Izu are a popular diving area for international guests as well. The scenery changes with the seasons, allowing you to enjoy schools of fish and the serene blue underwater world. "I can't believe there's such a sea near Tokyo." It's not uncommon to hear such remarks from first-time international visitors. Obtaining a diving license is not just about getting a qualification. It's about challenging yourself to enter a new world together. It's about spending the same time in Japan's waters. That experience itself will remain as a memory of the journey. It's another side of Japan that you won't encounter just by visiting tourist spots. That is the charm of "Dive Near Tokyo." At Hokule'a Shonan, we offer small-group beginner-friendly diving tours and license courses. We can accommodate English speakers, making it a great option for international travelers and foreigners living in Japan. Why not spend a slightly special day during your trip to Tokyo?

In Zushi, Kanagawa Prefecture, the sea is home to some of the largest schools of fish in Japan.🐟 It takes about 40 minutes by car from Hiratsuka, where Hokulea Shonan is located. This popular boat diving area can even be visited on a day trip from Tokyo.🚗 On the way to the sea, you can enjoy a small cruise while taking in views of Enoshima and Mt. Fuji.🛳️ Once you arrive at the dive site and enter the water, you'll be greeted by an overwhelming number of red sea bream. At first, it may look like the water is murky. But as you get closer, you'll realize it's all a school of fish. Countless small fish fill the water. More and more schools of fish continue to appear. It's a mysterious sight, as if the underwater world itself is alive.✨ The density of fish is astonishing, making it hard to believe you're underwater. Divers who see this view for the first time often gasp in amazement. There are still special seas near Tokyo that are not widely known.🇯🇵 This is another aspect of Japan that you won't encounter through tourism alone. In the tranquil sea, you can feel the energy of nature all around you. Hokulea Shonan offers small group diving tours centered around the Shonan and Izu areas. They also provide beginner-friendly tours and English-speaking diving support.🌊 #Tokyo Area #Nature Experience #Day Trip #Local Travel #Japanese Scenery

At the foot of Mount Fuji lies Lake Motosu. 🗻 Located in Yamanashi Prefecture at an elevation of about 900 meters, Lake Motosu is a rare freshwater diving spot in Japan. The water in the lake is highly transparent, revealing a serene blue world. 💧 Underwater, you can see fantastical landscapes formed by the eruptions of Mount Fuji, volcanic ash accumulating on the lakebed, and large sunken trees. In some places, spring water flowing from Mount Fuji emerges from the lakebed. It offers a tranquility completely different from the sea. This is a special underwater world connected to the history of Japan's iconic Mount Fuji. Just a short distance from Tokyo, you can discover landscapes of Japan that you won't encounter through typical tourism. 🇯🇵 Hokulea Shonan offers small-group diving tours in lakes around Mount Fuji and the seas near Tokyo. 🌊 A tour of Lake Motosu is also scheduled for August 9-10, 2026. Be sure to experience the tranquil blue world at the foot of Mount Fuji. ✨ #Near Tokyo #Nature Experience #Lake Diving #Day Trip #Local Travel #Japanese Scenery

Enriched dive to the shipwreck 🚢 Hello 🫧 This is Hokulea Shonan. Today we visited the shipwreck dive site in Atami 🚢 Large schools of fish gathered around the wreck, and we were thrilled by the dramatic underwater scenery 🤩 This time we dived using enriched air (Nitrox). Thanks to that, my body felt much better after the dive ☺️ Enriched air is a breathing gas with a higher oxygen concentration than normal air. Because less nitrogen accumulates in the body, it reduces the risk of decompression sickness and allows for safer dives 👍 Another big benefit is that you get less tired ✌️ Thank you to all the guests who joined us 😊 Diving as a family was truly lovely ✨ From now on, let’s enjoy Atami’s shipwreck more comfortably with enriched air 🥳 🌈 At Hokulea Shonan, you can also earn the Enriched Air Specialty (SP) certification 🙌 We also welcome requests for course dates! --- 🏝️ Hokulea Shonan is a diving shop in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. To Nishi-Izu and Tago! Boat Diving Report 🌊⛵️ on a Sunny Sunday in Autumn Hello, this is 😊 Hokule'a Shonan The other day, we went boat diving to the popular area "Tago" in Nishi-Izu! ⛴️✨ Speaking of Tago, it is a diving spot with a wide variety of terrain and highly transparent waters. There is also good Access that can be reached on a day trip from Kanto, and it is 🙌 an area that is often requested in Hokule'a Shonan The first one this time is the point of the open sea, "Floating Shimane off the coast". This is one of the longest places for divers, and when you dive, you will see a spectacular fish shadow 🐟🐟🐟 in front of you! Snapdragons and squirrels flocked and danced 🎆 like fireworks in the sea The sight that covers one aspect of the scene will take your guests breath away ✨ And the second is to the mysterious cave point 🕳️🤿 that represents Tago. As you walk through the Gari, the light shining in from the end of the water channel shines in fantastically, as if you have jumped 🎬💫 into a scene from a movie The scenery of light and shadow touches my heart no matter how many times I visit. That's the real thrill of "cave diving"! On this day, the guests who participated in the yellowtail for the first time in a long time were with us, and the calm way of diving without feeling blank was really wonderful 😀👏 And next time, it's finally the 150th dive 🎉✨ that will be memorable for the guest! Spending time thinking about "where to dive" together is also an important pleasure 💕 of diving life There is a to 🙏🌺 everyone who participated On a pleasant sunny autumn Sunday ☀️🍂, surrounded by the best sea and smiles, we were able to share a happy time. An island 🏝 you'll want to come back to again and again ― Izu Oshima Island Tour Hello! This is 🤗 Hokule'a Shonan This time, I would like to introduce ✨ the Scene of the diving tour on Izu Oshima Island Izu Oshima Island is a popular outlying island that is easy to access from Tokyo. It's about 45 minutes by high-speed boat from Atami, 🛳 but it's a different world in the sea. Held in for the second time this year, and there are many repeat visitors, making it truly 😊 an island that makes you want to come back again and again A fascinating Water world 🌊 The sparkling scenery that spreads out in the shallow area ✨ The world surrounded by light is so beautiful that you will want to look at it forever. Plus, swimming through the dynamic terrain ⛰️ arches and rocky terrain created by volcanic eruptions will make you feel like you're on an adventure. No matter where you dive, there is a lot of variety, and every time you dive, you will discover something new! Hello! This is 🤗 Hokule'a Shonan This time, I went diving in Futo, a popular Spot in Higashiizu! Tomito is a place that can be reached by Day trip from the Kanto region, There is a it is ✨ one of the most popular beaches in the Higashi-Izu diving Spot On this day, we were 👍 divided into an OW (Open Water) training team and a fun dive team. The transparency, which was a little down, was recovering quickly and I was able 😄 to dive very comfortably. August is coming to an end, but the midsummer days are still ongoing. After all, the sea looks best 🏝 in summer. Of course, the coolness of the air conditioner is comfortable, but the time to jump into the sea in front of you and cool off while soaking up the sun is the most luxurious moment 🐠 of all. The moment you put your face on the surface of the water, it is a blissful time. In the sparkling water, a flock of Solas damselfish unique to Higashi-Izu Unfolds. The scene is a healing space that you will want to look at forever, and it will make you 🤿 feel the charm of diving again. And what I would like to recommend in Tomito is "Tomito Hall". The terrain is like a small cave, and on a clear day, the light shines through, making you 🌟 feel like you're exploring a small cave. If you were too busy to go diving in the summer, don't worry! Tomito, which can be reached on a day trip from the Kanto region, is the perfect sea for the upcoming hot season. It is a diving Spot that even beginners can participate in with confidence, so it is recommended to start obtaining Sense and fun dives at this time. 🌈 Hokule'a Shonan is a PADI 5 Star diving center located in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Diving connects the 🌏 world Hello. This is 🤗 Hokule'a Shonan The other day, I went to the popular diving spot "Izu Marine Park (IOP)" in Higashi-Izu. This time, we had guests from Spain and guests from the United States living in Japan. It was a 🤿✨ very international dive On the day of the dive, we were divided into two teams: the experience diving team and the fun dive team. The experience diving team started by snorkeling and getting used to the sea. Scene observed colorful fish in a shallow area with high transparency, and the guests seemed 😄 to be having a lot of fun After that, I tried to breathe in water for the first time. I was a little nervous at first, but I soon got used to it and was able to dive calmly. In addition, I tried water photography, and I was able to enjoy 👏 it with so much leeway that I couldn't believe it was the first time The Fun Dive Team aimed for Izu Marine Park's Specialties "Water Post". Meter under the seabed, you can 📮✨ actually post a postcard to this post and the postcard will really reach the other party. Those who receive it will surely be surprised. In addition, this time, a guest who enjoys drawing also tried drawing in water. It was a special and luxurious time to enjoy diving and art at the same time. There is a very much to 🙏 everyone who participated this time Once again, I felt 🌏 that diving is an Activities that connects the world It is a great pleasure for us to be able to connect across borders through the sea. ——— 🌈 Hokule'a Shonan is a small-group dive shop located in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. 🌊 The waters of Atami are always full of mystery and beauty. Beneath the surface of the water, there is another world that is disconnected from everyday life. 🪸 Brightly colored soft corals, 🐟 schools of fish, wrecks ⚓ that have spent many years quietly in the sea. All of them give you new discoveries and impressions every time you dive. ⚓ Atami Wreck Point is one of the most popular diving spots in Japan. The hull, which is about 80 meters long, lies on the seabed as if welcoming divers, and is home to countless creatures. From Spring to summer, the shadows of the fish become even darker, and 🐠 the feeling of moving through the school that swims around the hull is like being part of the sea. 🚉 Atami is only 90 minutes from Tokyo and has good Access, so it is a nice point that you can easily go on a day trip. 🤿 You will be accompanied by an experienced guide, so even if you are new to wreck diving, you can try it with confidence. The light shining into the interior of the wreck, the soft coral swaying, and the silence drifting on the seabed. All of this is a special experience that you will never get on land. 🍂 Diving shows a different look in each season, so you will never get tired of it no matter how many times you visit. Especially in autumn, the water temperature is high and the transparency is good, making it ideal for taking a closer look at the entire wreck. If you are thinking "I want to do a wreck dive someday", please take this opportunity to go to the waters of Atami. 🌊 Why don't you take a deep breath and step into the blue and quiet unknown? ---------------- 🌈 Hokule'a Shonan is a dive shop located in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture! It's like an Okinawa resort! Pool diving experience 🌴 in Kanagawa Hello! This is ⛱️ Hokule'a Shonan The other day, we held in a divemaster training at a resort-like pool in Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture! The clear blue sky and the sparkling water surface of the pool will keep you 🤿🌞 excited from the morning The biggest attraction of this pool is the bright and open atmosphere like the white sand of Okinawa. Sunlight shines into the water, Unfolding a curtain of shimmering light. It's like a vacation even before diving! It is the best environment where you can enjoy the "extraordinary". In the course, participants aiming to become divemasters confirmed their basic skills and practiced how to respond to emergencies. A pool with no waves or streams is an environment where you can calm down and concentrate, so it is perfect for establishing skills. This resort pool is also a great place to practice skin diving. Ideal for preparing before going to the sea, such as finwork, ear removal, and checking your posture in water. The transparency is also high, making it perfect for taking photos in the water or practicing semi-water shots 📸 "I don't want to go to the sea today, but I want to dive in the pool." Please feel free to contact us. With the comfort and security unique to the pool, even beginners can easily enjoy it. 🇯🇵 Excellent Access from Tokyo! Held in PADI diving course in Nishi-Izu [English support, small group size] Implementation at Hokule'a Shonan recently held a PADI Open Water Diver Course. The locations are "Hirasawa" and "Ida" in Nishi-Izu, which can be reached on a day trip from Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. Both are highly transparent and are perfect Spots for your first marine training. All of the guests who participated this time were beginners in diving. Scenes were nervous at first, but after a careful lecture on land, Nature was smiling by the time they entered the sea. The instructor supported me one by one and proceeded with the course calmly. 🤿 Diving is "fun and learning" In the diving course, you will practice basic skills such as breathing in water, clearing a mask, and neutral buoyancy. Even if you are a first-timer, you can rest assured that the small group size and slow pace will make you feel at ease. While experiencing buddy checks and equipment settings, you will acquire Nature and "diver thinking". Above all, the best part is that you can practice in the beautiful sea. The sea in Ida is called "Ida blue", and surrounded by clear Water and colorful fish, you will feel as if you are in another world. 🌏 Classes in English are also available. Suitable for travelers and business travelers! Hokule'a Shonan offers PADI Sense courses in English. It is also possible for those who want to obtain a Sense while traveling or business travelers who are staying for a short period of time. With a flexible schedule, you can tailor the course to your stay plan. 🚉 30 seconds walk from JR Hiratsuka Station (easy Access from Tokyo and Yokohama) 📆 Schedule request OK 👥 Peace of mind in private or small groups 🗣 English-speaking instructors 📩 The first step to the world's oceans, right here in Japan Activities can be started even if you are not a good swimmer. Water is a magical experience of breathing in the water, encounters with sea creatures, and quiet time to face yourself. Everything will be a special memory that will stay with you. If you get a PADI C card (Sense), you will be able to dive in the world's oceans. I sincerely recommend it to those who want to start a new hobby or refresh themselves in Nature. 🌴 Good Access from Tokyo! Day trip diving tour🛳️ on Hatsushima Hello, I'm Hokule'a Shonan! 😊 This time, we Held in a Day trip tour at Hatsushima, a popular diving spot in the suburbs of Tokyo. Hatsushima is a small island with good Access, located about 30 minutes by ferry from Atami Port in Kanagawa Prefecture. From Our store (Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture), it takes 🚗🛳️ about 1 hour and 30 minutes by Car and ferry Transportation time is short, so even short travel schedules make it easy to visit. 🌊 Leisurely diving experience in crystal clear waters On this day, the weather was good and the sea was clear, so I was able ☀️ to swim comfortably in the bright water In the waters of Hatsushima, you can enjoy a variety of fish from shallow to deep and rocky terrain. Even for those who are new to diving, the conditions were calm so that they could experience it with peace of mind. 🐟 Spot where you can meet popular fish During the tour, we also met the Famous "Kobudai" on Hatsushima. With its large body and distinctive face, this fish can come very close to divers Soba. In addition, the rocky terrain and the way the light enters are beautiful, making it a 📸 recommended point for taking photos in the water Shooting in bright water is a chance for even first-timers to take beautiful shots. 🤿 A safe environment and support system for beginners Transportation is very smooth as the dive site on Hatsushima Island can be accessed immediately after getting off the ferry. There are many days with few waves, and entry and exit are stable. It is also recommended for those who have just taken the Sense and have not dived for a while. Making seabed Aged wine on a sunken ship|Special tour Held in in Higashi-Izu and Irisawa! Hello, I'm Hokule'a Shonan! This time, we successfully held in 😊 our special project, "Making Aged Wine on the Sea Floor in Sunken Ships" This time, the wine was sunk in a sunken ship at a depth of -24 meters in water in Irisawa in Higashi-Izu. In fact, it is said that the origin of "seabed Aged wine" is an old wine that was accidentally discovered in a sunken ship. The swaying waves, the quiet environment, the shading and the constant water temperature created an ideal aged environment for the wines. We Reproduction the "Submarine Cellar" this time! The specially prepared bottles were sealed with sealing wax and the carefully prepared wine was transported to the sea. The space inside the wreck is "just the right size" as if it was prepared for this wine. The scenery peeking out from the side was truly fantastic, and it was a scenery that made me feel somewhat "romantic". Thank you to everyone who participated on this day! In particular, There is a 🍷✨ to Mr. Kobayashi of Hiratsuka's wine bar Binot, who has given us a great deal of cooperation from the planning stage this time The wine will be raised six months later, in December. At this year's Christmas party, a special one that has been quietly Aged on the seabed will appear in front of you. What does it taste like? I can't stop being excited! At Hokule'a Shonan, it will not end with "just a diving experience" from now on. We would like to propose a "little special sea trip". ▼Special thanks Instagram @shobuzawa_diving (Irisawa Diving Center) @winestore_sakae_binot (Wine Bar Binot) Information on upcoming tours and events will be introduced on the official Instagram and blog from time to time, so be sure to check it out! #SeaAgedWine #UnderwaterCellar #WineDive #OceanAging #WreckDive #HokuleaShonan #DiveJapan #UniqueExperiences #WineLovers #UnderwaterAdventure

[Notice 📢 of start of skin diving course] Hello! From this summer, Hokule'a Shonan will start a new "skin diving course" 🫧 Many of you may be wondering, "What is skin diving?" Skin diving is a diving style in which you dive into the Water with "only your own breath" without using a tank like Scuba Diving. It is similar to so-called "Diving with bare hands", but it is very important not only to dive, but also to have the skills and knowledge to enjoy it safely. For example, by properly learning how to breathe properly, how to remove ears, posture in water, and how to dive, you will be 🌿 able to enjoy it much more comfortably and with peace of mind The appeal of skin diving is "lightness" and "freedom". Because there are few equipment, you can directly experience a sense of unity with your body and the sensation of water, and you will feel as if you are one with the sea. It's perfect for those who say, "I like the sea, but scuba seems a bit of a hurdle ..." Of course, it is also recommended 🐬 for experienced scuba players as a new way to enjoy it This course is designed so that even beginners can participate with confidence. We will support you carefully, so please feel free to contact us 😊 if you are not confident in swimming or are worried about removing your ears 🌊 \Skin Course and Skin Tour Held In Date/ 📍Saturday, June 28 📍July 12 (Sat) - 13 (Sun) Lake Suganuma Skin Tour 📍Saturday, July 19 Held in on request in addition to the above dates! If you would like to be able to participate on this day, please contact us 🙌 Let's 💙 experience the "breathtakingly beautiful" world of the sea together We look forward to your participation! #SkinDiving #FreedivingJapan #TrySkinDiving

Divers who protect the ocean are cool after all! Hello, I'm Hokule'a Shonan! Today, I'd like to tell you a little bit about what we're working on, Dive Against Yellowtail. The other day, my friends and I dived together into the sea in Shizuura, Shizuoka Prefecture, and dived to collect garbage in the water. Take a look at this group photo taken after the activity! Isn't everyone really cool? The reason we think it's "cool" isn't just how it looks. I hope that we will come to an age where "picking up trash" will be taken for granted and seen as something to be proud of. That's what we have in mind. 🌊 Diving is a special time to connect with the sea. When you dive, you will be soothed by the tranquility and beauty of the water. You will also notice that there is garbage produced by people in the sea. Plastic bags, plastic bottles, pieces of fishing gear... There is also a reality that makes you want to look away. In such a situation, there is something that only divers can do. We believe so. Picking up trash can be sobering. But it's an action to protect the oceans of the future. And don't you think it's very cool? 🪸 Protecting the ocean should be part of the appeal of diving. Protecting the environment isn't just for special people. There are many things that you can feel and do because you are a diver. For those of us who live with the sea, the act of "protecting" is Nature. That may be the image of a "cool" diver in the future. Don't take out trash and pick it up. Both of these are steps towards protecting our oceans. Hokule'a Shonan will continue these activities in the future. If you like the ocean, why don't you start doing something "a little good for the earth" together? #DiveAgainstDebris #OceanConservation #ProtectWhatYouLove #ScubaForChange #DiversForTheOcean #CleanupDive #BluePlanetProtection #SustainableDiving #MarineDebrisAwareness #EcoFriendlyDiver #PADIAWARE #HokuleaShonan

Thinking about the future of the oceans and what we can do on World Environment Day Hello, this is 🌊 Hokule'a Shonan June 5 is World Environment Day 🌏 For those of us who face the sea every day and work to deliver the charm of the sea, This is a special day with a very important meaning. When you hear the word "environmental issues," you may feel that it is a distant story. Issues that should be addressed by the government and companies, and what experts should consider It's easy to think like that. The truth is that environmental issues do not belong to "anyone" but to each of us. For example, straws and plastic shopping bags from convenience stores that you used casually. Even if you think you have thrown it away properly, it will be blown away by the wind and washed away by the rain. Thereare you may end up in the sea. As a result, more and more plastic waste continues to grow in the ocean. If we don't do anything, It is said that 😢 by 2050, the amount of plastic in the ocean will exceed the amount of fish And the fish that accidentally ate the plastic died, Sea turtles are dying, whales are dying, and seabirds are dying. Is that the kind of future we really want? 🐢🐟🐋🕊️ What we can do doesn't have to be big. However, each of them has the power to change the future in a big way. For example ✅ Don't "opt" for single-use plastic products ✅ "Picking up" plastic waste that has fallen on the Coast Even the smallest actions can eventually lead to big changes. One thing 🌱 you can do today In Hokule'a Shonan, through diving and snorkeling, I feel that it is our mission to focus on and convey both the beauty of the ocean and the challenges we are currently facing. Passing on the beautiful ocean to the next generation. Why don't you start doing just one thing today? #WorldEnvironmentDay #OceanPlastic #OneActionCanChangeTheFuture #ProtectOurOceans #DiveAgainstDebris #PADI #SDGs14 #ProjectAware #HokuleaShonan

【Lake Motosu Diving Experience】Dive at the foot of At the foot of Mt., a World Heritage Site! ⛰️To the mysterious lake where 1,200 years of history sleeps 💧 Hello, this is 🌈 Hokule'a Shonan This time, we will introduce a diving experience at Lake Motosu, which spreads out at the foot of Mount Fuji 🗻, a World Heritage Site! Lake Motosu is one of the Fuji Five Lakes and is a highly transparent Water lake 💎 located about 900 meters Elevation It is 🤿 a rare Spot in Japan where you can experience altitude diving (high-altitude diving) On this day, we went to Lake Motosu with 🌍 guests from overseas It was ✨ indeed a special day for the guests who were trying their first Lake Motosu and their first Altitude dive In the lake, there was 🌲 a landscape that made you feel as if you were in ancient times A dynamic terrain formed by lava and a water bottom with a number of surprisingly large sunken trees. The silence and scale of it is simply overwhelming 😮 In addition, there is a legend that there was once a Torii (shrine gate) gate and a shrine, and there is a hint of more than 1,200 years of history in the Water. The time spent at the bottom of the lake while thinking about the prayer place sunk in the Water is very mysterious 🕊️ The water temperature on this day felt a little cold at 18-11°C, but we were able 🧊 to dive comfortably in a dry suit I was particularly impressed by the deep and clear blue world 💙 called "Lake Motosu Blues" Impression 👏 of transparency and tranquility, which is completely different from the sea, And after the dive... Superb view of Mount Fuji towering in front of you! 🗻 In addition to diving, you can experience both the Nature and culture of Japan, which is a major attraction 🇯🇵 of Lake Motosu diving ✅ Recommended points for Lake Motosu diving ✅ A special experience where you can dive at the foot of Mount Fuji, a World Heritage Site ✅ Altitude diving is possible ✅ Lakebed with more than 1,200 years of history and tradition ✅ A water world where giant trees, lava, and the mysterious "Lake Motosu Blues" spread ✅ Perfect for sightseeing with a Mount Fuji view! 🌈 In Hokule'a Shonan, diving at Lake Motosu can be requested 📅 all year round The water temperature varies greatly from 5 to 25°C depending on the season, and you can enjoy 🍃❄️🌸☀️ a different look every time you visit "I want to dive near Mt. Mount Fuji someday." Why don't you make such a dream a reality? 😊 📩 If you are a beginner or would like to acquire Sense, please feel free to contact us! #DivingInJapan #LakeMotosu #MtFujiView #JapanAdventure #ScubaTravel #AltitudeDiving #HiddenJapan #OnlyInJapan #NatureLovers #BucketListJapan #WorldHeritage #FreshwaterDiving #HokuleaShonan
