Eastern Temple [Temple][Kyoou Gokokuji] 1 Kujo-cho, Minami-ku, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto It is a World Heritage Site, and the "five-story pagoda" of the Precincts is known as the symbol of Kyoto, "East Temple (Temple Papal Protectorate)". It can be seen from the Shinkansen heading to Kyoto and is close to JR Kyoto Station, so if you visit Kyoto, you will definitely see it. Starting with the five-story pagoda and the Mikagedo, the Precincts are dotted with more than 20,000 national treasures and important cultural properties, and there are a lot of to see.

From the guest hall, a national treasure where Miyamoto Musashi is said to have stayed, you can see the garden of dry mountain water and the five-story pagoda. The view from the bullet train is quaint, but the five-story pagoda seen from here is also beautiful.
