◆Toyooka Iris Garden◆ The Iris Garden is located on a Takadai hill overlooking the Central Alps in the middle of the river terrace. I had been growing various flowers as part of my hobby since around 1938, but when I Visiting the site of the Lauris Garden in Aoki Village, I became fascinated by the variety of irises such as color, size, and shape of the irises cultivation there, and I started purchasing bulbs. Later, as the number of cultivation varieties exceeded 100, the planting space became too small, so it was relocated to the current farmland of 30 acres. There was a request from the village to open the park as a tourist park, and in 2002 I obtained a qualification as a landscaping coordinator, and in 2003 I started Open to the public as an iris garden. Wrapped in an arch of roses Tokyo Tower? This is one photo taken from Shiba Park, Minato-ku, Tokyo. Since its opening in 1958, it has been watching over the city as a symbol of Tokyo for about 60 years. It is said that the construction technology of that time is so advanced that it is said that it cannot be reproduced now. It has been earthquake-resistant for more than 60 years in Japan, an earthquake-prone country, and I felt that it was the crystallization of craftsmanship. Why don't you enjoy matching with modern roses? ?

Wanted to post this earlier this week, but better late than never I suppose. Was walking around Arakawa and they were having a rose festival sort of event it seemed like. Over by Arakawa Amusement Park there was a little area set up with some stalls. I didn't get to check it out but it seemed like there were a lot of people there. The amusement park was also open. I don't think I've seen it open for a while so it was nice to see people are able to visit it again. When I was passing the Arakawa tram I noticed there were tons of roses along the sides of the track that I'd never noticed before so I decided to snap this photo of the pink tram passing by with them.
