During a recent visit to the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter in Japan, I was enchanted by the beautiful white-walled townscape and the rich history and art it held. The serene atmosphere along the Kurashiki River, with its white-walled warehouses and willow trees, offered a truly unique and charming experience. Exploring the traditional buildings and modern shops, such as the Kurashiki Canvas and Kurashiki Denim stores, was a delight. The area was bustling with tourists. I spent an entire day enjoying myself in the history, art, and culture of this remarkable quarter and look forward to returning in the future.

It is a fireworks festival that was previously held in the Kojima district of Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. The fireworks festival of Japanese night events is making a comeback in many places, and it seems to be entertaining summer nights. We hope to revive the fireworks festival in the Kojima area.

Kurashiki Bikan historical area is also known as "town of storehouses" and many of the storehouses are converted into a restaurant/ cafe or museum. Travelling become more interesting when you get a chance to look it more closely. During our trip to Kurashiki we heard so many stories of those narrow alleys and traditional houses and at the same time we saw few people roaming there in traditional attire. It was really a treat for eyes as if the history open itself in front of our eyes.

This is a photo of Kurashiki in Okayama, where she lives, which I have been dating for three and a half years. We have been traveling for about a year, and I would like to go to Kurashiki together as soon as the corona calms down. I hope that Corona will settle down soon and everyone will be able to go to a wonderful place with those who want to meet and their loved ones.
