Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu
Aug. 11, 2023
Hello! This is Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu. This time, I would like to introduce the Sapporo streetcar. The Sapporo streetcar opened in 1918. The route trains that run through the center of Sapporo City are used by many people as a means of transportation for tourists and citizens. From the window of the leisurely streetcar, you can see the daily life of Sapporo citizens, which is a little different from sightseeing spots! In winter, you can see the "Sapporo White Illumination" from the inside of the car. The streetcar takes 55 minutes per lap, and you can get a great deal by using a one-day pass or a Dosanko Pass limited to weekends and holidays. You can also use transportation IC cards such as Suica, Kitaca, and PASMO! For a low price of 200 yen for adults and 100 yen for children, you can visit various sightseeing spots such as Mt. Moiwa, a scenic spot.

開智国際日本語学校(Kaichi International School of Japanese)
Jul. 10, 2023
As a field trip, I went to the "Kan Clean Center" that was just built in Hachioji last year. 15 minutes by bus from Takao Station. It is located in a green place. The facility is very clean and spacious, with modern systems for processing garbage. The facility information was available in various languages, so even foreigners could understand it. You can see trucks entering the facility and garbage being collected live. There were also separate quizzes, and the students were able to have a lot of fun learning.

[English/Japanese] In front of Nishi-Hachioji Station, anyone who lives in the Tokyo metropolitan area? There is the Kinuta Dental Clinic, which is well-known. At the entrance of the Kinuta Dental Clinic, there is a large karakuri clock, which has become a symbol of Nishi-Hachioji, and every hour you can listen to an interesting mechanism and a story about teeth. Our students are also undergoing dental treatment now. It is said that foreign students are prone to tooth decay due to changes in eating habits and stress. Our school provides health counseling for students so that they can lead a healthy life as an international student.
