Japanese firework festival is widely popular during the summer time. This summer I enjoyed the Todabashi firework festival.

During summer time we can see several firework festival from different part of Japan. In 5th august I enjoyed the Todabashi firework festival Name "Sky Fantasia 東西光宴". It was a real gem for the firework lover. There were around 12000 fireworks with the time span of 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was amazed and overwhelmed with joy. My dream to enjoy Japanese firework came true.

Sunflowers are the symbol of summer. It also symbolize the unwavering faith and constant orientation towards the light. There are several sunflower festival all over Japan and this from Kumagaya in Saitama.

A 10-minute walk from the school, I bought tokoroten at a konnyaku shop founded in 1881. Three tokoroten cost just ¥376, and you can buy them fresh. They can be shaved thin on the spot with a special tsukibō, or you can buy the tsukibō to take home. Since it was a special occasion, I bought a tsukibō to bring back this time! Making tokoroten was my first experience and it was really fun. The taste was by far the best tokoroten I’ve ever had—no off-odor, with a refreshing flavor that was delicious. Exchange students are often surprised at how many Japanese foods use seaweed. Because it’s healthy, some people get hooked. Do try chilled tokoroten and beat the summer heat.

Mikoshi at the festival for the first time in 4 years since Corona I'm worried that my body will follow after a long time. It's hot and the mikoshi is heavy and tight. After all, I like festivals and mikoshi. Spending time with friends gives you a smile that nothing can change.

July 23: Onuma Park in Nasushiobara I went to photograph the summer marshland. Since it is near a tourist spot, I thought that many tourists would come, Almost no one came, and you can take pictures of the great outdoors as much as you want! Although it was bad, I put out three photos that I liked. Long exposure with ND filter makes the water surface smooth, I dared to take a fluffy picture of the grass with subject blur.
