【Takamuro Shrine Annual Grand Festival】 Annual Grand Festival is held in at Takamuro Shrine (2202 Shimosuya, Isehara City). Yoimiya: Saturday, September 14, 2024 Annual Grand Festival: Sunday, September 15, 2024 On September 7th, the "Shiosumi Shinto ritual" was held to collect beach sand, seawater, and hondawara (seaweed) used for the Annual Grand Festival to Terugasaki in Oiso Towns. The beach sand brought back is sprinkled around the shrine as a substitute for cleansing salt at the Annual Grand Festival "Beach Sand Sprinkling Ceremony", seaweed is displayed on the pouring rope of the Torii (shrine gate), and seawater is used to pray for fire protection. Access: Odakyu Line "Isehara" Station      20 mins walk   North Exit Bus No. 5 bound for Aiko Ishida Station and Get off at "Kasu Rooftop Inn" for 2 minutes on foot  South Exit Bus Stop No. 4 bound for Tokai University Hospital "Get off at Isehara City Hall North Exit" and walk for 9 minutes For details, please visit the Isehara Takashinkai website
