Nameless Pond (commonly known as Monet's Pond) Nameless Pond in Itatori, Seki City, Gifu Prefecture (commonly known as Monet's Pond) Monet's Pond is a reservoir located beside the approach to the temple to Nemichi Shrine in Itatori, Seki City, Gifu Prefecture. Maintenance was Used for irrigation around 1980 using the subterranean water of Mt. Takaga. Monet's Pond is a common name, not an official pond name. Local call it the Nemichi Shrine Pond or simply the Pond. Water lilies blooming in highly transparent spring water are very beautiful, The appearance of Nishiki carp swimming gracefully in the pond is like Monet's Representative "Water Lilies". When is the best time to go to Monet's Pond? Monet's pond can be enjoyed all year round. From the end of May to October, the water lilies begin to bloom, and from Spring to autumn, the amount of spring water entering the pond increases, so the transparency increases. November when the Autumn leaves change color and the silver Monet pond seen in the snow are also the best. The location is difficult to understand, so when you come by Car Please register the facilities in front of the pond "Flower Park Itatori" in the navigation system.
