Exploring Japan goes beyond just stunning landscapes; it’s a journey steeped in rich traditions. Experiencing traditional Japanese style tea ceremony and making Wagashi with friends in Kimono or Yukata is just a wonderful experience which I will remember my whole life. This is the other side of cool Japan beyond the Natural beauty and mouth watering food. We enjoyed it in Asakusa area of Tokyo.

Hello everyone! Yamato City Events and Tourism Association. The other day we talked about temples, so today I would like to introduce one shrine in Yamato. Fukami Shrine is a shrine located about a 15-minute walk from Yamato Station on the Odakyu Enoshima Line and Sotetsu Line. The God of worship is also known as "Takemikazuchikami" and "Takeminakatakami", and the God of worship of Kashima Jingu in the Head Shrine of Kashima Shrine is also known as "Kashima-kami Kashima-sama". Both gods are very strong war gods in martial arts, and they are indispensable for praying for victory. Fukami Shrine is also It is also one of one of the only Enki Shiki shrines in the city listed in the "Enki Shiki Shinto Name Book" compiled in the Nara and Heian periods. It seems to have been recorded for a very long time as one of the shrines that represents the region. Fukami Shrine is also known for its "Harunire" tree, which is one of the 100 most famous trees in Kanagawa and a scenic natural monument of the Yamato City Historic Site. This elm, which is about 30 meters high, is rare in lowlands like Yamato, and was called "Nanjamonja tree" because the tree species was unknown at first, and it is still popular as a name unique to the Locals. Fukami Shrine is located in a quiet residential area. It is also recommended to stop by as a walking course. 【Fukami Shrine】 3367 Fukami, Yamato-shi, Kanagawa https://www.fukamijinjya.com//

Today, I'm going to talk about how cute the stone statues in a temple called Josenji Temple in Yamato City are. Josenji Temple is a famous temple in Yamato City, known as the "Temple of Flowers". It is a healing spot where trees and flowers calm the mind every season. Arhat statues and kappa are scattered around the Josenji premises. All of the children have rich expressions, and you can Oyster various imaginations such as "What are you thinking?", "Friendly and relaxed", "Fun with everyone", etc. They may also be enjoying watching the people who come to the temple. The lively stone statues are really unique and adorable. Temple of Flowers Josenji Temple 2176 Fukuda, Yamato-shi, Kanagawa http://www.jousenji.com//
