Sea Lights Festival in Odaiba Every year on Marine Day in July, a candle is lit in a seven-colored paper bag to pray for the safety of the sea, and a pageant of lights is woven on Odaiba Beach.

The annual festival of Tomioka Hachimangu is held around August 15th. Also commonly known as the "Fukagawa Hachiman Festival", it is counted as one of the "Three Great Festivals of Edo" along with the Sanno Festival of Hie Shrine in Akasaka and the Kanda Festival of Kanda Myojin. The year in which the Hachimangu shrine's shrine goes to shrine once every three years is called the main festival, and the sight of 53 town mikoshi coming together to make a joint crossing is unique to the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival. The festival in Fukagawa is characterized by the traditional shouting of "Washoi, Wasshiyoi" and the alias of the "Mizukake Festival", in which the bearers and spectators are showered with purifying water from the crowd along the road, and the bearers and spectators are excited as one, and it has been carefully passed down by many people as a festival that conveys the essence of Edo to the present.

[Englsih/Japanese] We recently went on an excursion to the Takao Komagino Garden. It was a 15-minute walk from Takao Station. It was a very hot day, but there was a stream running along the way, which was very cool. It was very cool inside the Japanese house, and the students looked in wonder at the bonsai trees that were displayed in various places. I was amazed at the beauty of the dry landscape in the garden, and was fascinated by the beauty of Nishikigoi carp. The lotus flowers were in full bloom. The other day, I went to Takao Komagino Garden on an excursion. 15 minutes on foot from Takao Station. It was a very hot day, but there was a stream flowing along the way, and it was very cool. The students were amazed at the beauty of the dry landscape in the garden and fascinated by the beauty of the Nishikigoi. The lotus was in full bloom.

When I stopped at Dogo Onsen, I was guided by the sound of wind chimes in the corridor It was ? beautiful.

I was finally able to visit Shimonada Station in Ehime, which I had wanted to go to for a long timeIt ? was a nice station with an atmosphere.

When I stopped by the wind chime festival of Kogenji Temple in Tamba, the Tanabata atmosphere in the assembly hall was good and my dog was also photographed with wishes.

Aina Satoyama Park It is located in the city, and it is the only place where you can experience like the countryside, and I thought that this kind of experience was necessary for children now, so I visited every year and it was a nostalgic place and it became a filming location for the movie "Rurouni Kenshin".

Summer temporaneous hot afternoon in Kamikawa

Just being here temporarily in Aina Satoyama Park, which I visit every year, is healing ?.

This is a large kaleidoscope photo I found when I went to Nagahama with a friend in July this year! It was dome-shaped, and if you manually turned the lever, you could see a beautiful kaleidoscope inside. I took this picture because the outside was beautiful spinning like a windmill.

Hokkaido is a great summer destination as this place is less humid than other parts of Japan during summer and more flowery. This summer flower park, shikisainooka , is one such place that is very popular during that time. Its a kind of flower paradise. Very relaxing and eye shootings.

The wind chime festival of Shimono Evil Daishi in Shimono City, Tochigi Prefecture. The glass wind chimes, a summer tradition, echoed in the precincts and I felt the coolness.

During summer sunsets become slow and delayed show of colors. During this time the sudden changes of the color from blue to yellow to orange, to purple, and finally gray shades of sky is some extraordinary nature's show. This photo was taken from Jogashima in Kanagawa prefecture

Lotus has ability to bloom from a dirty water but it looks very beautiful. May be because of that in many culture lotus is considered as symbol of purity and enlightenment. Its true for Japanese culture too. This photo was taken from the Shinobazu pond in Ueno park. On the opposite side of the park there is shrine which can also be seen from this photo. The combination of the lotus and shrine is very important for shinto, hindu and buddhism since lotus also symbolise the spirituality and eternity. Additionally lotus also symbolises fertility and prosperity. May be because of all this, lotus is the national flower of India and Vietnam.
