The Museums on Castle Town Street will be closed from June 1 to July 26 for renovations. The reopening is scheduled for July 27. After the renovation, there will be a facilities for experiencing bamboo crafts and chigiri-e paintings, as well as a teahouse.

Today, it's Mr. 168's breakfast. Taiwanese rice balls and citrus soy milk 🍋. Taiwanese rice balls contain mustard greens, meat noodles (Lawson), fried eggs, takwan (fried bread), and yujo (fried bread). In addition, black Rice is used. Citrus soy milk contains lemon and is very tasty. Thank you for opening early in the morning. 😊

At Kawagoe Kumano Shrine. Even though it was October, there were strips of Tanabata decorations. Among them, a strip of paper called "World Peace" caught my eye, so I took a picture of it. It is precisely because of this era of wars and conflicts that the culture of Tanabata of praying may be ingrained in our hearts. Because Japan is a country that has learned greatly from past wars, I pray that Japan will not be involved in a war.

Photographed 5/22/25. I went to Omotesando bread and espresso at approach to the temple. It's a moo toast set. They are moo toast, salad, deli, fried eggs, bacon and yogurt. 🍞🥗🍳🥓 The word "mou" means "soft" in French. Moo toast is tender and delicious. 😊

Today, I had a morning activity. It is milk tea with bread and espresso.

I happened to visit Chichibu A Carp streamer Festival was being held near Muko Hot spring. The colorful Carp streamers were swimming gracefully and it was very beautiful.

Not only the Sunrise and the Torii (shrine gate) gate, but also the bubbling waves are beautiful.

This photo was taken from Haguroyama Shrine in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, when I went to see the first sunrise of this year. I waited from midnight to see the first sunrise for the first time, and the first sunrise I finally saw was so beautiful that it was worth the wait. I realized that this is a traditional Japan tradition.
