The Flower Path Leading to Mori Yume There is a road that continues from the main entrance of Hotel Rimu to the national highway. In early August, the flower beds along that road were in full bloom. The contrast of the flowers is beautiful, but my favorite is the white leaves 🍃 While looking back at my photos, I found pictures of the flower bed taken at the end of June. Comparing them was surprising 😳 I couldn't believe how different the plants looked from when they were first planted! I realized that the imagination to plant with growth in mind and the daily care help create such a lovely flower bed. The Wind of Hokuto Pro Wrestling Blows At the end of July, a Hokuto Pro Wrestling event was held in Nishiokoppe Village. This was a continuation from last year, but the number of attendees was nearly double that of last year! During the day, the wrestlers visited the day service, and it felt like the distance between them and the villagers was greatly shortened. With their well-trained bodies, they performed stunning acts, dropping from great heights with a loud "bang!" and engaging in brawls outside the ring, making for a spectacular event. Hokuto Pro Wrestling matches not only excite the wrestlers but also draw cheers from the audience, energizing the entire venue. That’s why the spectators became increasingly engrossed in the matches, pouring their energy into their cheers and applause. 【Nii Tete Boye's LIVE】 I apologize for the delay in posting, but in July, Nii Tete Boye came and performed for us! The Panlogo, a traditional instrument from Ghana in West Africa. He played it by striking the surface with his palms, and at first, I was captivated by the unique rhythm, unsure of how to move my body, watching the vivid hand movements as he struck the drum. There were several songs that allowed the audience to participate with clapping and singing, which gradually helped me understand the rhythm structure. Nii Tete Boye played the five drums effortlessly, as if the Panlogo had become a part of his body. In the middle of the LIVE, there was a special collaboration featuring a Bon song performed by Nii Tete Boye and the villagers! Their beautiful harmonies singing a challenging melody merged with the sounds of Nii Tete Boye and the bear drum. As the Bon song resonated, I felt as if I had come to a different place, experiencing a strange sensation. The performance was that captivating. Event Announcement📣 On Saturday, August 8th, "Yukata Night" will be held again this year, even more powerful than last year! 😊 The opening will feature a balloon release that is double the scale of last year, along with the impressive Tokachi Komadaiko drum performance and the vibrant Tokachi Baton Twirlers. There will also be exciting events like a candy toss for kids where they can win wonderful prizes and a "Children's Festival" filled with fun activities! 🎵 Additionally, we will host a Yukata Contest and a "New Event" where adults can win luxurious prizes!! We will also sell a limited number (20 pieces) of giant "Mega Anpan" (approximately 20cm in diameter)! 😍 If you come in a yukata or jinbei on the day of the event, you will receive a "300 yen voucher" (with a festival ticket for children) that can be used at the venue! 🎁🎁 Of course, you are also very welcome to come in casual clothes! 🤗 A special day for everyone from children to adults.
