🌸 At Higashikawa-cho’s famous cherry spot, Kitoushi Forest, cherry blossoms are a little late this year. They usually peak during Golden Week, but as of May 2 they are still in bud. It looks like it will take a little longer before full bloom. 🌱 In the meantime, the forest offers spring wildflowers like katakuri and ezohengosaku. Pale purples and blues of these delicate blooms herald the arrival of spring. 🐤 Kitoushi Forest is also a haven for wild birds, making it a perfect spot for birdwatching! ❄ And Higashikawa’s symbol, Mt. Asahidake, is once again a world of silver. The contrast of the snowy peak against the blue sky is stunning, offering spectacular views. 🌿 Come and enjoy the nature-filled town of Higashikawa during Golden Week! 🚗

Hello 😃 This is Enemon Denshokan. While the news often says the Kofu Basin is hot, a crisp spring breeze still sweeps through Shosenkyo Gorge, where ukonzakura (ukon cherry) blooms in full glory and fresh green leaves brighten the ravine! In fact, Enemon Denshokan has a marble chessboard on display. The natural stone’s beautiful patterns give it the presence of a work of art. In the quiet gallery, you can relax as you hold the chess pieces and enjoy a peaceful moment. It’s also highly photogenic, so please stop by as a memento of your sightseeing. Also, from April 27th we began a new polishing experience led mainly by Mr. Fukuda, a Yamanashi Master First-Class Gemstone Polisher. In a one-hour course you can become a “gemstone polishing artisan” and create a unique travel memory just for you. We look forward to welcoming you to the museum!

It snowed recently, but the cherry blossoms are starting to bloom little by little. Snow still dresses the mountains, and on clear days you can enjoy beautiful mountain views, so here are a few highlights. ■Tokachi Millennium Forest @tokachi_millennium_forest From the vast grounds you can see the Hidaka Mountain Range. During Golden Week, May 3–6, the Spring Garden Festa takes place. ■Tokachigaoka Observatory Located near Tokachigawa Onsen, it offers views of the Tokachigawa River, the hot spring town, and the Hidaka Mountain Range. It’s also a lovely spot for watching the sunset. ■Shinarashiyama Sky Park Observatory The Tokachi Plain spreads below like a patchwork quilt, making it a perfect panorama point, with the Hidaka Mountain Range visible behind. ■Obihiro Shrine @obihirojinja Cherry trees along the approach and within the shrine grounds are beginning to bloom. The hanachozu (flower-filled water basins) are decorated with pink, white, yellow, and other flowers, creating a festive scene. ■Nupuka no Sato @nupukanosato Located within Daisetsuzan National Park at an elevation of 600 meters, Nupuka no Sato offers sweeping views of Tokachi. With cottages and camping areas, it’s a place for outdoor experiences. At night you may be treated to a beautiful moon and starry sky. Events are also held during Golden Week! This is one of the night views of Rainbow Yellowtail from Daiba Park. It was the middle of winter in December, so I took a picture alone in an empty park. Houseboats often pass by, so wait for the moment so that the boat is not reflected I persisted and filmed. On the right, accent with the orange shining Tokyo Tower Rainbow yellowtail is the subject. So that the night lights of bridges and cities can be reflected on the surface of the water to reflect beautiful reflections I cut it out with a long exposure. This place is also my favorite location, and I often visit and take pictures by myself.

This is a photo standing in the morning glow of Rainbow Yellowtail seen from Toyosu. Waiting for the moment when it looks beautiful before sunrise in the early morning when it is not popular I copied it. The sunlight is still weak, so only the PL filter is attached to the lens. This is one of the photos that I took with the intention of taking as beautiful a picture as possible of the orange light reflected in the sea. Since it is taken with a long exposure of 1 minute or more, the water surface is smooth and smooth. It became an atmosphere and a fantastic photo.

This is one of the evening views of the cherry blossom trees in front of the Ueno Grace Park Ninja Pond. The pale light of the evening fell on the cherry blossoms, and it was a very beautiful and soothing scenery. Onlookers who come to see the cherry blossoms are walking happily while looking at the cherry blossoms on both sides. While looking at such a scenery from a distance, I took pictures of the moment when I felt emotion when I saw the people and the cherry blossoms beautifully illuminated by the Sunset.

This is one of the photos when I went to see the cherry blossoms at night in Ueno Grace Park at the beginning of April. On this day, it started to rain in the middle of the day, and this photo was taken before the rain started to fall heavily. To the right of the temple, which shines with lights, cherry blossoms are lined up, and the water surface of the pond is smooth. I took a long exposure of about 30 seconds. I tried to make it a reflection, but it didn't work. I decided on the composition so that the Sky Tree enters neatly directly above the Temple. It's one of my favorite landscapes, and I often visit it because it's close to my house. Every time I look at this night view, I am healed alone.
