Almost every spot from where Fujisan is visible seems picturesque to me whether it is my workplace or rooftop of my home or any tourist spot. I visited kawaguchiko in more than once but this trip was unforgettable. On this beautiful sunny autumn morning I first ever saw a lenticular clouds over Fujisan. The scenic view of Mount Fuji, bright orange bush kochia, and lenticular clouds from Oishi Park is diffrent from usual autumn pictures of Fujisan and Momiji frame yet it is very close to my heart.

[English/Japanese] A 15-minute walk from Hachioji Station, I bought a “Hachioji Castle Monaka” at the Japanese sweets shop Senshuen. In fact, there was a castle in Hachioji in the 16th century. This “Hachioji Castle Monaka” is a confection shaped like the castle that stood then. The monaka is filled with sweet red bean paste and was delicious 😊 By the way, Hachioji Castle no longer exists, but the site where the castle once stood is now a park. I would like to visit it with my students someday. A 15-minute walk from Hachioji Station, I bought a “Hachioji Castle Monaka” at the wagashi shop Senshuen. Actually, there was a castle in Hachioji in the 16th century. This “Hachioji Castle Monaka” is a sweet shaped like the castle that stood at that time. The monaka is firmly filled with anko (a sweet paste made from beans) and was very tasty 😊 By the way, Hachioji Castle is no longer there, but the place where the castle used to be is now a park. I’d like to go there with my students someday.

Yamanashi Prefecture Fruit Park For my cute daughter who was addicted to Yuru Can at the age of 5, I wanted to show her the place where Yuru Can was filmed, so I ran for 6 hours from Hyogo Prefecture and first went to Hotarakashi Onsen and then came to the fruit park. My daughter was so happy that she wanted to go to the famous spots of autumn leaves and Mt. Fuji, but she didn't have time and didn't sleep for camping purposes, and there was a tent set up, so I went to 🚜 Shizuoka after this

Asagiri Kogen, Shizuoka I have seen Mt. Fuji from my life. I usually don't have a day off for 6 hours by car, and after work, I drove non-stop at night to Yamanashi Prefecture for 6 hours, and then stayed at Fumorepala Campsite for 1 night, and my cute daughter said that it was like Mt. Fuji due to the influence of the loose can, so I 😵 did my best without sleep. Until now, I had seen so many beautiful photos of Mt. Fuji on TV that I took it for granted and did not feel attractive, but when I actually saw it, I was impressed by its magnificent scale and wanted to come again. People who usually watch may be tired of seeing it, but I live in an area that I rarely see, so I was 😌 captivated by Mt. Fuji.

I went to the rooster market in Hachioji with some of my students! There is an Otori Shrine about a five-minute walk from Hachioji Station. I was moved by the lucky, ornate decorations. The shopkeepers calling out auspicious phrases to customers who bought them felt like a slice of Japanese culture, and the students were very excited. On the way home, we bought the market specialty, kirisansho—rice cakes coated with a spice called sansho. They were delicious. There are two more rooster fairs to come. We hope you will visit the rooster market as well. I went to the rooster market in Hachioji with my students! Otori Shrine sits about a five-minute walk from Hachioji Station. The warmth and fragrance of gentle wood with a beautiful sea spreading out before your eyes. There are a water features in front of the rooms and in front of the lobby reflect the moon at night and wave with the wind, making the Open-air baths even more beautiful at night. The open-air baths are just about the size where you can stretch out your legs and spend a relaxing time while looking up at the sky. At the time of the opening, there were no trees between the private rooms and the inn, but now, as the trees grew, you can enjoy your privacy and no longer have to worry about the line of sight across the street.
