The Tateyama Fireworks Festival in Chiba was absolutely magical — even more spectacular this year!
The highlight? Definitely the underwater fireworks 🌊💫 — shimmering bursts that danced across the sea’s surface like something out of a dream.

My favorite moment was watching the golden willow-shaped fireworks drift gently down, like glowing branches swaying in the breeze… truly breathtaking.

And of course, no festival is complete without tasty treats — the butter-fried potatoes were crispy, golden, and totally addictive 🥔😋

Huge thanks to the amazing staff and organizers for making this unforgettable night possible. Already counting down the days until next year!

The highlight was definitely the Underwater Fireworks — the fireworks 🌊💫 that glowed like dancing on the surface of the sea were like a dream.

I was particularly impressed by the moment when the golden willow-shaped fireworks slowly descended like branches swaying in the wind... It was truly breathtaking.

And, of course, the Festival also requires delicious stall gourmet. Butter fried potatoes were crunchy, golden brown, and addictively delicious 🥔😋

我最喜歡的時間是看到金色柳枝形狀的煙火緩緩飄落,像是閃耀的枝條隨風搖曳...... 真是令人屏息的美景。

當然,祭典怎能少了美味的小吃? 奶油炸馬鈴薯外酥內嫩,令人一吃就停不下來 🥔😋

🗓️ 每年8月8日舉辦 — Japan夏季必看的傳統盛事

The deep green of Usa Jingu Shrine, which symbolizes "summer in Japan". In the sunlight shining through the trees, I captured the moment when my father passed through the vermilion Torii (shrine gate). This Torii (shrine gate) is the boundary between the sacred and the mundane, a symbol of purification and vitality.  

Usa Jingu Shrine, the Main Shrine of the Hachiman faith, is a sacred place where my ancestors, the Karashima clan, especially Katsuotome Karashima, were deeply involved in its founding. The image of the father passing through the Torii (shrine gate) gate symbolizes the way in which the lineage and faith are passed down from generation to generation, following in the footsteps of distant ancestors.  

This trip was a powerful and healing experience for me, like a large tree taking root in my heart. I was touched by the vitality of Usa Jingu Shrine in summer and the history of my ancestors, and I realized that my Roux is deeply rooted in this Great Earth. This is more than just a summer scene, it is a piece that conveys an ancient bond and inner peace.

Take a boat ride at night. I took a picture in a place where the buildings of Tokyo and the Sky Tree are located.　　Each light was cool in the dark.

The sandy beach of Odaiba in summer. I found a parent and child enjoying themselves near the water and asked them to let me take a picture.

Go to Shikoku by Tsar. The second day was Awa Odori in Tokushima. The bleachers were in the back, so I asked a Local at the front to let me take a picture for a while. The yukata was cool and I felt the power of the dance.

I don't think the hand-held fireworks in Niimachi, Shizuoka Prefecture in July are as famous as Toyohashi, but you can get close to the stage and feel the realism and power.
I arrived around noon, secured a place, and took a picture at the position of the spark thread.

I took a picture of the stream under Karuizawa's "Shiraito Falls" with abundant water and dazzling green fern leaves.

Light up inside the Tokyo Tower Observation decks in summer, and I felt that it was very cool when combined with the lights of the building outside the window.

I have been enjoying the summer mountains with my friends for the first time in a long yellowtail. I took a picture of my friends departing from "Yanzanso" and heading to the summit ~ Mt. Fatal Demon with the summit included.

After shooting at the lily garden in Fukuroi City, I stopped by "Kanusai" and saw a wind chime hanging in the Precincts and making a cool sound. I took a picture while waiting for the feathers to flutter in the wind.

The Ashoro Furusato Bon Odori and Ryogoku Fireworks Festival is coming😊

About 8,000 fireworks will light up the night sky at Ashoro’s summer festival🎵

The program is packed with events like costumed Bon Odori, a comedy live show, a kayōkyoku (popular Japanese ballad) performance, and a magic show!!
There will also be a beer garden and a children’s festival, making it a fun day for everyone.

The 32nd Sugao Stone Buddha Fire Festival

The Sugao Stone Buddha Fire Festival takes place at Sugao Stone Buddha Plaza in Mie Town, Bungoono City, Oita Prefecture.
The rooster-crowing imitation contest, inspired by a local legend, is a delightfully fun event where participants perform rooster calls while wearing handmade costumes (of course, costumes are optional) or delivering unique acts. Smiles fill the venue.

❚ About the Sugao Stone Buddha Fire Festival
Local residents organize the festival to boost community revitalization and promote awareness of the Sugao cliff-carved stone Buddhas.
The rooster-crowing imitation contest is based on a local legend. According to the tale, a troublesome demon settled in the area and demanded, "Give me the village maiden as a bride!" The troubled village headman consulted a monk, who told the demon, "If you carve five stone Buddhas on the cliff in one night, I will give you the maiden as a bride; if you cannot, you must leave the village." Worried villagers checked at night and found the demon carving the fifth statue. They had the village’s rooster-call master imitate a rooster, and the demon mistook the sound for dawn and fled.
