Eboshi and Senganmon, as well as underwater volcanic ejecta such as Kumomi, Iwachi, and Dogashima. It is a treasure trove of rare deep-sea creatures such as hawk crabs.  In addition, Suruga Bay, which spreads out in front of you, is the deepest bay in Japan, where the Philippine Sea Plate is subducted under the plate on the Honshu side, and the deepest part is 2,500 meters deep. 【Takamuro Shrine Annual Grand Festival】 Annual Grand Festival is held in at Takamuro Shrine (2202 Shimosuya, Isehara City). Yoimiya: Saturday, September 14, 2024 Annual Grand Festival: Sunday, September 15, 2024 On September 7th, the "Shiosumi Shinto ritual" was held to collect beach sand, seawater, and hondawara (seaweed) used for the Annual Grand Festival to Terugasaki in Oiso Towns. The beach sand brought back is sprinkled around the shrine as a substitute for cleansing salt at the Annual Grand Festival "Beach Sand Sprinkling Ceremony", seaweed is displayed on the pouring rope of the Torii (shrine gate), and seawater is used to pray for fire protection.
