Located on the south side of Yamato City, next to Atsugi Air Base, Yamato Yutori no Mori is a park characterized by a vast green lawn zone (Shukeiike Zone), but it shows a different look in winter. The calm brown grass and the trees showing their branches against the backdrop of the sky are also There are beauty unique to Nature. Also, in winter, the air is clear, so you can see Mt. Fuji from a Takadai. It is recommended for walking courses from children to adults. You can also freely go back and forth to the adjacent Ayase Sports Park in Ayase City. Recently, there have been more opportunities to hold joint Events between Yamato City and Ayase City here. Both are very nice parks where you can see the wide sky.

Today, Saturday, February 15, we are holding in the monthly "Kanagawa Yamato Antique Market". At this antique market, we sell the famous "Tankan" from Yamato Village in Amami Oshima, Kagoshima Prefecture! Tankan is "a subtropical citrus native to China that favors high temperatures born from the Nature crossing of ponkan and orange" (quoted from Yamato Village website). It looks ordinarily delicious. By the way, Yamato Village in Kagoshima Prefecture is about 1,500 km from Yamato City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and it takes about 250 hours on foot. Thank you for coming all the way ...!

I visited Saijo Shibetsu store! Saijo Shibetsu store is holding a birthday festival to celebrate its 28th anniversary! For two days during the festival, wooden toys from Nishiokoppe Village were placed in a special area on the first floor. From the Komu Museum of Art we brought a wooden sandbox filled with hundreds of wooden balls, wooden puzzles, toy cars, and a Miracle Korokoro Tower where marbles roll for fun. A castanet-making workshop was also held in one corner of the venue! We spent two soothing days listening to the happy voices of visiting children and the warm sounds of the wooden balls. Next to the Nishiokoppe Village booth was a croquette vendor from Bifuka. Both the potato and pumpkin croquettes were delicious! They were wonderfully crispy. And Setoushi-kun collaborated with Bifuka-kun and Bifuka-chan! Some children looked puzzled when the mascots appeared, but it was heartening to see those who were delighted. Thank you to everyone who stopped by! Once again, congratulations to Saijo Shibetsu store on its 28th anniversary!! #Nishiokoppe Village #Hokkaido #Saijo Shibetsu store #Birthday festival #Congratulations #Komu Museum of Art #Leather craft #Local specialty sales #Setoushi-kun #Bifuka-kun #Bifuka-chan

A radiant smile graces her face as she experiences the joy of wearing a kimono for the first time, posing gracefully in front of Sensoji, one of Tokyo's most iconic tourist destinations. The vibrant colors and intricate patterns of her kimono contrast beautifully with the lush greenery and ornate architecture surrounding the temple. Sensoji evokes a unique blend of emotions; it is a place steeped in rich traditions, where the scent of incense wafts through the air, inviting visitors to partake in centuries-old customs. At the same time, the area buzzes with contemporary energy, filled with trendy shops and lively street vendors, creating a remarkable fusion of the old and the new that captivates both locals and travelers alike.
