Today we installed carp streamers along the riverbank of the Rekifune River!
They will stretch across the river and flutter until May 6.

The cherry blossoms on the banks of the Matsukawa River were 🌸 in full bloom

This is a row of cherry blossom trees along the Matsukawa River in Toyama Prefecture.

In the daytime, houseboats pass through 🤤 the rows of cherry blossom trees

Kawayu Ganban Terrace, the origin of Kawayu Onsen.
This sightseeing spot features hot water gushing out where it flows down from Mt. Iou.

It is also an area that symbolizes Kawayu Onsen and underwent renovations in October 2024, drawing even more attention as a tourist spot.

Today, I attended the Kakijima Maro Festival in the Precincts of Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine.
It's a yellow cherry blossom. It is a mixture of green and yellow, and red lines appear as it is in full bloom.

Yuso Rikyu Hachimangu

A shrine located in Daisenzaki-cho, Otoku-gun, Kyoto Prefecture. The former company name was Fusha.
It is said to be the former palace of Ishisei Water Hachimangu.
It is also the birthplace of oil refining.

Shiio Shrine

The area at the back of the Suntory Yamazaki Distillery used to be called Mercy Otani. Here we and a Temple called Nishi Kanonji, which is said to have been founded by the monk Gyoki with the Honzon of the eleven-sided Kannon, the Buddha of refuge of Emperor Shomu.
The current Shiio Shrine is Located in just behind the center of the Suntory Distillery.
As you pass through the Suntory Distillery, the security guard will talk to you, but let's just say that we are going to the shrine.
Gari up the stairs and looking down at the world below from the Precincts, you can look down on the distillery and railroad tracks at a moderate height from between the rustling trees.

The design of Suntory Royal's bottle stopper is based on the motif of the Torii (shrine gate) gate of Shiio Shrine.
The shrine's Dedication Thereare has the name of Shinjiro Torii, and Suntory seems to be a shrine that is cherished.
In Spring, the Yamabuki flower of the island Honmachi is in full bloom, and you can enjoy performing with the cherry blossoms, and it is a quiet and good place.

Calligraphy is a hobby that can be enjoyed with friends. Calligraphy is a traditional Japanese culture and art. Exposure to a large number of calligraphy characters nurtures intelligence and sensitivity. It has also been proven that writing letters by hand has a positive effect on the brain.

Every year on May 3rd, the traditional Hayase Children’s Kabuki takes place. This boys’ elementary school children’s kabuki has been passed down for about 150 years. It is said to have started when kabuki performances by children were offered at local temples and shrines in Hayase to appease a cholera outbreak during the Edo period.

After the children’s kabuki is offered in front of Hiyoshi Shrine, the float will be pulled to Zuirin-ji Temple where another children’s kabuki offering will take place.
