The wood-filled event “Tree Festival in Honbetsu KIDAKE,” held every year on a Saturday in mid-October, will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025🌲🌲😊

Set among the trees at Shizuyama Camp Village, this wood education event invites visitors to touch wood, play with wood, and be captivated by wood!!😍

Woodworking artists from across Hokkaido will showcase their creations, and you can enjoy a variety of wood-based activities such as coaster and xylophone workshops, wooden bat batting experiences, mini house-building sessions, and food trucks—an outdoor shopping experience centered entirely on wood🪵🪵

There will also be live music and a log-cutting competition!!🎵🎵
As a special gift for visitors, the first 50 attendees will receive a log-grown shiitake mushroom spawn log🎁🎁

Come and savor the beauty of wood amid the lush greenery of Shizuyama Campground🤗

This is Hanatetsu's Hanachozu.
It's been a long time since I've had a yellowtail Hanachozu.

The Beskanbe beef Wetland has not been developed for a long time, so the Japan and one of the most original Nature have been preserved.
And the Hanasaki Line runs through this vast Wetland.

I happened to see a photo of the Hanasaki Line on the Internet, and I really wanted to see this scenery with my own eyes, so I researched the place and time, and finally I was able to see it.

It's a quiche plate. Sweet potato and bacon quiche, salad with homemade ham and cold Butter nut pumpkin soup.

"Eging Tournament in Kōno 2025" has concluded

The "Eging Tournament in Kōno 2025", which had been scheduled for October 5, concluded successfully thanks to everyone’s cooperation.

Although the weather was unfortunately rainy, 150 participants came from inside and outside the prefecture and energized the event as if to blow the falling rain away.

It was striking to hear participants calling out to one another with the motto "See you here again next year."
