COOL JAPAN VIDEOS Photo Contest PR
Apr. 25, 2023
Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce a post by "Nguyen Vu". The contrast between the vivid tulips, the blue sky and the clouds is wonderful. Located in Yamanakako Village, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture, Yamanakako Hanako Park is a popular tourist spot with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji visited by many tourists. The park is divided into "flower garden / farm area" and "paid area", and you can enjoy the vivid flowers of the four seasons in each area. The vast plateau at an altitude of 1000m is a sight to behold. Cherry blossom trees, tulips and poppies bloom in spring, sunflowers bloom in summer, cosmos bloom in autumn, and each season has a different charm. The blue carpet of nemophila, which can be seen at the water and flower theme park "Seiryu no Sato" (paid area), is also popular as a photo spot. In addition, an illumination event is held every winter, and the fantastic view of Mt. Fuji and nature is a must-see. You can check the flowering status in the park on the official website, so why not check it out when you visit? You can also take a walk with your pet (lead required), so it is also recommended to take a walk with your dog. ◆Lake Yamanaka Hanato Park◆ 【Address】〒401-0501 Yamanashi Prefecture Minamitsuru-gun Yamanakako Village Yamanaka 1650 【Access】By car: About 5 minutes from Yamanakako IC on Higashi-Fuji Five Lakes Road 【Parking lot】Available (charged) For more information, please visit the official website.

Introducing the post of the "Tomakomai Tourism Association / TOMAKOMAI" official account! Tomakomai City, Hokkaido is a city located in the south-central part of Hokkaido. The fishing industry is thriving, and the catch of hokki mussels is about 800 tons, which is the largest in Japan. The mineral-rich hokki shellfish are exquisite. There are also plenty of sightseeing spots such as Mt. Tarumae and Midorigaoka Park. ◆Tomakomai Tourism Association◆ 【Address】 〒053-0022 Hokkaido Tomakomai City Omotemachi 5-11-5 Furendo Building 1F 【Tomakomai Tourist Information Center】Tel:0144-34-2000

Tomakomai Tourism Association
Apr. 21, 2023
To everyone who watches the COOL JAPAN VIDEOS, this is the Tomakomai Tourism Association.

In this account, we will introduce plenty of attractive sightseeing spots in "Tomakomai City", one of Japan's leading industrial cities and the largest port city in Hokkaido!

Tomakomai is about one and a half hours by car from Sapporo City and about 30 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, making it a very convenient transportation access.
When sightseeing, rental bicycles are also available, so sightseeing while feeling the breeze of nature is also recommended.

Now, we will introduce the sightseeing spots that Tomakomai City is proud of.

■ Mt. Tarumae
Designated as a natural monument of Hokkaido, it is a triple volcano surrounded by two world-famous outer ring mountains.
You can visit the 7th station by car, and you can easily climb from the 7th station to the summit in about 50 minutes, where you can enjoy the magnificent scenery and alpine plants.

■ Midorigaoka Park
From the observation deck at the top of the park, you can overlook Tomakomai City.
Fountains and flower beds are maintained, and it is also used by many people as an outdoor sports park with an athletic field and a rugby field.

■ Nishikionuma Park
It is a park centered on Nishiki Onuma with a circumference of 1.6 kilometers and is surrounded by nature.
You can enjoy it throughout the year at a full range of facilities such as the largest auto campsite "Alten" in Japan, a canoe base, a park golf course, and a hot bath facility "Yunomi-no-yu".

■ Northern Horse Park
It is a popular tourist spot where you can interact with horses.
You can experience horseback riding, sightseeing horse-drawn horses, sightseeing horse-drawn carriages, horse-drawn sleighs, horseback riding lessons, happy pony shows, horse trekking, etc.

Next, we will introduce popular gourmet food, which is one of the pleasures of sightseeing in Tomakomai.

Tomakomai City boasts the largest landing volume of hokki shellfish, which is said to be the king of shellfish, in Japan.
It is known as a high-class sushi topping, but you can buy it comfortably in Tomakomai.
In addition, there are plenty of popular specialty gourmet foods that you should definitely try when sightseeing, such as salmon and hokke seafood unique to port towns, haskap, Tomakomai ramen, sweets "Yoitomake" using haskap, Tarumae Genghis Khan, and Kitayori curry!

We will continue to send out recommended information full of charm of Tomakomai that could not be written in this post, so thank you!

[English/Japanese] This grocery store is located in front of Nishi-Hachioji Station. This store is currently closed, but there was a poster with messages of support from everyone. So it is a store loved by everyone. I felt very warm when I read it. There are many supermarkets in Nishi-Hachioji, but there are also small stores like this one. Students at our school also said that they sometimes use these small stores because they enjoy the communication that only a small store can provide. They said that when they live alone away from their country, just being able to call out to them makes them feel less sad. It is a greengrocer in front of Nishi Hachioji Station. The other day (around mid-April), I photographed the flowers of the otome camellia (otome tsubaki) in the Mt. Rokko of Kobe. This Mt. Rokko area has been designated as the Setonaikai National Park and has been a suitable place for recreation and summer retreat since the Meiji era. Mountain villas and recreation centers have been built here and there in the mountains, and there are sightseeing spots such as Rokko Ranch, which is inspired by a mountain ranch in Switzerland, and Arima Onsen, which is counted as one of the three famous springs of pillow grass. The mountains opened by foreigners in the Kobe Settlement have many katakana names such as Cascade Valley (a valley of many small waterfalls) and Twenty Cross (20 mountain trails), recalling the history of foreigners opening the mountain. By the way, this time the otome camellia was taken at the place of the Japanese name, Otter Pond in Viper Valley. Aside from the Mt. Rokko area where many names from the Edo period remain, such as the Shojo Pond introduced here last year, Otter Pond is ... I wonder if the pond used to be full of otters, and I still look around for signs. The camellia blooming season is almost over, but now the azalea flowers are brightly colored all over the driveway. Animals and plants are rich in nature, Mt. Rokko how about ? hiking?
