This photo was taken with my best friend when I went to a festival Held in in the handmade Village Koi Township in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture. The wind chimes and the lanterns reflected in the back remind us of summer in Japan. It was the best night I was able to spend with my best friend in a bright, yet calm space in my last year in Aomori. Each other's faces, illuminated by the light of the lanterns, may have been a little lonely...

Fukoji Hydrangeas ❚ Bloom status as of June 27, 2025 Fukoji Temple in Asaichi, Bungo-Ono, Oita Prefecture. The hydrangeas overall have passed their peak. Mount Iimori's daylilies are nearly in full bloom. Yesterday we held a hike to see the daylilies on Mount Iimori. Right in the middle of the rainy season and worried we might cancel due to rain like last year, the forecast suddenly changed and, to our surprise, the weather turned out fine 😅 We even caught a glimpse of Mt. Fuji through the clouds, making it a lucky hike 🎉 The daylilies are just short of full bloom, but they were impressive enough to enjoy 😋 I think the peak will be around late next week. Well done to everyone who joined us — great job 🫡

Shinano Road in the rain Bushu Highway Furuya Valleys "Otome Falls" I went there looking for a superb view in the rainy season ☂️! This is a photo of my mother and I when we went to Oka Temple in Nara to see hydrangeas. Of course, the hydrangeas were beautiful and wonderful, but I was very impressed by the stones struck by the waterfall standing dignified next to the hydrangeas. I thought that this kind of scenery is the beauty of Japan that has not changed in the past and even now, and that it has been passed down from generation to generation along with the uninterrupted Water.

This is a photo I took when I went to see the cherry blossoms with my friends. I was able to take a very beautiful picture with a cloudless blue sky that seemed to attract cherry blossoms.
