At Showa Kinen Park on the middle day of a three-day holiday to see the autumn light-up.
More than the ginkgo-lined avenue lit by countless lights, my eyes kept drifting to the crowds writhing beneath the leaves... What did I even come to see? I captured that confusion using a prism filter combined with a Kenko Black Mist No.5 lens.

I photographed the World Cultural Heritage Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route, capturing the Nakahechi course dyed in autumn colors at Toganoki Chaya and Hosshinmon. Bright autumn leaves on sunny days are of course beautiful, but I also love the calm, mellow scenery on rainy days.

I felt a strong sense of autumn in Japan from the fall colors and the Japanese garden.

A little over a year since I took delivery of the car.
I couldn't take photos with the autumn leaves last year
so this year my wish came true🍁
I couldn't put the top down in summer because it was too hot
but the weather turned just right for an open-top drive after a long time
On a drive, I stopped by Kiminomori Metasequoia Trees in Oamishirasato City
The white Copen and the orange-lined trees matched perfectly, giving a full autumn vibe✨

The Northern Alps suddenly lit up with sunset colors
The weather is expected to worsen from tomorrow

I went to see Wakayama Castle. The castle itself is a reconstruction after the original was destroyed almost a hundred years ago, but the real treasure is the Nishi-no-Maru garden. The fall colors were really vibrant, and were reflected on the pond. The peaceful atmosphere made it hard to believe that the castle grounds were surrounded by a city! Since its free for viewing, you can't beat the value. If I am ever in the area again, I want to see what it looks like in other seasons as well.

At a shrine I happened upon, the orange sunset and the crimson autumn leaves made a striking impression on me.

I came to Kitano Tenmangu Shrine because the plum wine festival was taking place. The red maple leaves framed Uguisubashi Bridge, creating an especially striking scene.
Also, I noticed something at a glance while posting: the photo was taken on what happens to be “Good Couple Day.” Could it be a coincidence that the man and woman who unintentionally ended up in the picture are framed by the autumn leaves?

The season for clear stargazing has arrived. The Orion constellation and the Winter Triangle, both iconic winter sights, stood out. Nearby, Taurus, Gemini, and the Pleiades were also visible.

After the Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine niiname-sai (harvest thanksgiving festival), I relaxed at the Starbucks Kanetsuki‑dōri Store.
I had a gingerbread latte and a sweet potato malasada.

I greeted the sunrise at an abandoned farmhouse with a silo.

Most of the fields have been harvested
and soon snow will be piling up.

It was a little misty and had a pleasantly moist atmosphere.
