Among the award-winning entries, we selected not only those featuring famous tourist spots, but also works that captured Japan’s lesser-known yet fascinating charms.

If you were selected as a winner, please follow the proper procedures to receive your prize.
The soft glow of the izakaya gently illuminates the street corner, making a scene suffused with nostalgia and warmth.
The decorated neon signs and lanterns add color to the night, creating a distinctive urban type of coziness that perfectly reflects the izakaya as a place for people to unwind after a long day at work.
The quiet atmosphere subtly conveys the signs of human presence and daily life, giving the viewer a sense of closeness and familiarity. This makes for a very appealing photo that perfectly captures a moment in city life.
For its depiction of the hidden depths of Tokyo at night, we are pleased to present this photo with an Honorable Mention.
Looking up, the viewer is surrounded by glowing blue walls of ice that seem to enclose the sky, making for a sense of the otherwordly, as if you have wandered into another world.
The ice sculptures are from ice formations which form naturally on the waters of the lake, before being carefully shaped over time by human hands. The transient beauty that results is the fruit of both nature and human effort, a sight that can only exist when man and nature act in harmony.
The striking contrast with the clear blue sky further enhances the overall impression, and for capturing such crystal clarity that is truly worthy of the name "Shikotsu Blue", we are pleased to award this work an Honorable Mention.

Cherry blossoms decorate the railroad tracks as a green diesel train passes an oncoming train, as if the two were quietly weaving a seasonal story of their own.
The tracks stretching into the distance seem suggestive of spring air, and the figures waiting at the station add a warm human touch.
