又兵衛は後続部隊の到着を待つと、「徳川先鋒部隊は既に到着している」と言う。計画が失敗に終わったことを悟った又兵衛は、待たずに徳川の前衛を攻撃し、戦死した。又兵衛の後を追って到着した臼田兼荘も戦死した。毛利勝永と真田信茂の部隊が間もなく到着したが、時すでに遅し...。豊臣軍は大阪城に退却した。後続部隊の到着を待つ又兵衛の元に「徳川の先鋒部隊は既に到着」作戦の破綻を悟った又兵衛は待つことなく徳川の先鋒隊に攻撃し討死⚔ 又兵衛の後に到着した薄田兼相も討死しばらくして毛利勝永隊、真田信繁隊が到着するも時すでに遅し...豊臣方は大阪城へ退却へ

この幸村、ただ、命を長らえているだけの処を召し出され、武士としての面目を立てていただいた身。このご恩、土地や金子などに到底変えられない。 “日本の半分をもらっても寝返るつもりはない！” This Yukimura was summoned to a place where he was simply trying to prolong his life, and was given honor as a samurai. This kindness cannot be replaced by land or money. I have no intention of switching sides even if I receive half of Japan.
