厳島神社の大鳥居 厳島神社のシンボルともいえる大鳥居は、「平家物語」で有名な平清盛の援助を受け、1168（仁安3）年に造られたそうです。

先日、ネット記事で「桜の名所」として第一位になった広島県 宮島・厳島神社の大鳥居を桜と臨む1枚。

厳島神社 五重塔 / 広島 Itsukushima Shrine Five-story Pagoda / Hiroshima 海の中にある鳥居で有名な厳島神社の少し奥まったところにある五重塔。 高い場所にあるので遠くからでも眺めることが出来ますが、近くで見るとその迫力に息を飲んでしまいます。 その隣にある千畳閣も見所です。 The five-story pagoda is located in a slightly secluded part of Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its torii gateway in the sea. It can be viewed from a distance due to its elevated location, but when seen up close, the power of the pagoda will take your breath away. Next to the five-story pagoda is the Senjo-kaku, which is also a must-see.
