Nozawana is famous when it comes to pickles in Shinshu, but in Minami Shinshu, pickled Minamoto turnips are popular.

Minamoto turnip greens become sweeter and more umami when they are exposed to frost.
Period of the year when the cold weather has become severe. In Toyooka Village, we have entered the optimal harvest season for Minamoto turnips.

At Toyooka Travel Time, we are offering a harvesting experience of Minamoto Sukekabu greens.
We also give you a recipe for pickles.
