[New Year's Event] We held various New Year's events on New Year's Day! Here's how it 💁🏻 ♀️ looks First of all, we distributed candy lucky bags for children! A lucky bag 🍭 with a lot of sweets such as delicious sticks We prepared two types, lion dance and dharma, but it seems that 😏 the dharma bag was more popular For adults, behave 🍶 sake Japan sake from New Year's Day is exceptional! When you put salt on the spout and drink it, the taste of the sake stands out and is delicious, so I also prepared salt. Please try 💁🏻 ♀️ it at home And we also had mochitsuki! First, the general manager and deputy general manager show off their mochi tsuki! By the way, the general manager is 🐲 a man who is old this year At the end, we handed out red and white mochi! There were two colors of rice cakes, red and white, which are ♪ perfect for the New Year In addition, we were able 👏🏻 to hold an event full of New Year's feeling, such as offering afternoon tea🧁 limited to New Year's at noon We hope you enjoyed it! This year, we will continue to plan more and more events that will please everyone, so please join 🙋🏻 ♀️ us

Nice to meet you, everyone.
I run "Japan cuisine and Japan sake Keishi (Satoshi)" in Kyoto.
After 17 years of working at Wakuden, I became independent about 3 years ago.
You can leave the dishes to us and order them individually after the three dishes (one item in the image).
Kaiseki is also available for 13,200 yen, 16,500 yen, 19,800 yen.
In addition, 50 to 60 kinds of local sake are always available for Japan sake.
We will do our best to provide a space where everyone can relax, so thank you.

[English/Japanese] Across the street from the school is Koujiya Hachioji, a store specializing in rice koji. Rice koji is rice malt, which is made by propagating fungi on cooked rice, and is used in a variety of Japanese dishes. It was very cold in Hachioji today, so I ordered a rice koji smoothie (hot). The gentle sweetness made my cold body feel warm and refreshed. In Japan, both adults and children often drink amazake, which is made from rice malt, in winter. When I tell this story to foreign students, they are surprised and say, "Children drink sake, too? They are surprised. Amazake is sake, but some amazake is alcohol-free. Please give it a try. Wow, it's awesome watching these cups come together. I love watching videos of craftsmanship like this. Don't see a lot of this anywhere else these days. Japan always has the coolest traditional crafts too. I really enjoy sake so I should consider getting one of these probably. I'd also like to get some Edo Kiriko as well, but they're a bit more pricey and I'm really pick about which one I want lol. I love seeing all the specialized tools used in each craft too. Some you can just tell that there's no other possible use and you can get an idea of just how much knowledge has been handed down to reach this point. Really awesome stuff

I love the reflection the bridge and surrounding treeline makes on the surface of the river in this photo. Really beautiful stuff. I'd like to visit Aizu-Wakamatsu because I've heard that Aizu-Wakamatsu Castle is awesome and also the local sake in the area is supposed to be really good as well. I'm not too familiar with the area but I know Aizu-Wakamatsu is surrounded by mountains and that Mt. Bandai is over there. Maybe that's it in the background? I'm not too sure, but whatever the case may be it's a really breathtaking photo. Japan's snowscapes really are a gift that keeps on giving. Especially this year there's a ton of beautiful landscapes like this and getting to see them posted everywhere is really great. Everyone has such amazing photos it makes me want to try my hand at photography 😂. Maybe someday, we'll see lol

Tadami line and snowy landscape.
The first bridge and the train were reflected on the Tadami River, creating a very fantastic scenery.
